Afro Samurai truly encapsulates the intersection of raw creativity and unapologetic style. There's something powerful about the fusion of Samuel L. Jackson's voice, RZA's beats, and a blood-soaked revenge tale that pulls you in. Watching it again as an adult gives you that appreciation of the deeper themes, but let's be real-it's also just cool as hell. The mix of old-school samurai aesthetics with futuristic elements, topped with iconic animation, makes it unforgettable. And Gino? Easily one of the most underrated characters. Afro isn’t just a story; it’s a vibe, a reflection of rage and survival in a brutal, twisted world. Can you do YASUKE next?

I love afro samurai but either the benefit of hindsight it’s wild to me that characters bash and scorn Afro for all the people he’s killed when those people tried to kill him to take the headband and got mad that Afro fought back! The hypocrisy is one of the best parts of the series because it shows how everyone Afro included is caught in this needless cycle or revenge and blood lust
