      @@KnifewearKnives The quiz format was really fun! Question - Naoto has mentioned a couple of times that W2 is his favorite steel and for stainless it is R2, but he is also open to cobalt steel. Are R2 and SG2 basically the same steel? As I am learning it is not just the steel but the treatment - for a beginner like me what are your thoughts on 165 mm nakiri, bunka, santoku in one of the stainless that are more "workhorse-ish" less likely to chip etc.? Given the respect for Masashi and his use of SLD steel (or his VS1) how does that fit/compare with the preference for R2? Thank you - I am enjoying your sharing your knowledge! I am loving the Masakage Yuki (and I know I owe you a review).
