Just played it today. Shot 80 from the white despite having a crap swing. Loved the course layout and well-maintained greens. Looking forward to playing it again.
Couldn’t agree anymore with what you said about playing the course off the forward tees if you don’t have the distance. Played here once with dad a few years ago and he insisted to play off the blues but he was only carrying his drives ~200 yards and wasn’t sure why he wanted to put additional pressure on his game. I could easily cope as I play off 8 but it was a slog for him big time
I draw with my iron and fade/ slice my driver. I use a really strong grip to counteract for driver as the rest of the other methods i tried, didn't work for me.

It’s a superb course and I’m amazed at how good the conditions were!
Love it! I love playing here so much. I also play a fade with my driver and tend to draw my irons.

maybe the forward tees the next round and ask if there are any significant difference. I find playing long courses a torture.
