If you see the crew holding camera, boom mic and white sheets used in the frame that's probably them filming. If they aren't there in the background of the BTS then they are definitely rehearsing the scene or these two are having fun.
I myself sometimes find it difficult to figure out if they are just having fun (in which case great friendship and potential couple YAY!! 😀 ) or if they are rehearsing in the BTS. But there's definitely camaraderie between the two. I get the feeling Zheyuan really respects her as well. And his chemistry with Zhao Lusi onscreen is par excellence. Sorry but I have to say off screen he had more chemistry with Shen Yue, if you see the videos of the behind the scenes with both actresses he was way more playful with Shen Yue and there was some flirting: like when he playful try to act like he would kiss her and she was surprised about it, when he was playing with her fingers on the wedding photo shoots: he did things that weren’t on the script. Maybe because he was younger and now he has mature more and is more respectful? He had said it recently he has matured a lot:
