This should be how any widower would feel if he watches the photos of his deceased wife. Great acting by Matt Damon. The music gives soul to the scene.
God I relate to this so much. No not the loss of a spouse but the loss of so many family members and going through old movies and photos can just be a real trip through emotions.
Very moving scene.. just melts my heart.. these are the kind of films that make you remember to get out there.. to laugh.. to smile.. to love with everything you have
I watch this and I cry my heart out, not only because this scene and the acting and the soundtrack are beautiful and moving, but a while back, my mother had quite a big health scare, and for a time, I wondered if the time we sent her off to the surgery room would be the last time I ever saw her. Luckily, my mum's a badass and she made it out of the operation healthily, but you can't go through something like that without remembering the fear and ache forever. When I watch this, I am so thankful that I'm not in Benjamin Mee's position, that I have my mum beside me, and that I can make so many more such beautiful memories and moments, instead of reliving the past through photographs. It's bittersweet and so damn emotional, but all I know is that this scene reminds me how much I love her.
Ankitha B my dad had cancer 2 years ago and now im 13 but i sometime could still feel the pain that i experiance years ago Edit:his alive but still could get the cancer back but luckily.
My mom was recently diagnosed with cancer- and even though this family lost their mom to cancer I can still relate to everything about this movie-that even if my mom loses her battle-I can move on
U never have to move on u can still think of them it’s ok to cry b upset man never worry ab that never move on just grow and she will b waiting for u man
One of the best movies I’ve ever watched. The soundtrack by Jonsi as well is equally as amazing. I watched it after my dad passed away. It made me feel something, idk I can’t explain it. Such a good film.
This scene marked my life since the first time that i see it. I never had seen some edition like it… sound, recording and actress. Sometimes looks that is not a movie but was made by real life
There's so many people i think of when I hear this..My dad died in 2017.. a few months my mother offed herself in my living room as i watched in horror..My life has become so different..And I'm so scared and i hope they're watching over me
It took a lot of time before I could open the wedding albums after my wife passed. They're not wrong about that kinda thing in the movie. But once you do look again...

Very moving scene.. just melts my heart.. these are the kind of films that make you remember to get out there.. to laugh.. to smile.. to love with everything you have
My mom as a widow she said this scene so accurate that you are literally reliving that moment with your loved one 😍😍
I watch this and I cry my heart out, not only because this scene and the acting and the soundtrack are beautiful and moving, but a while back, my mother had quite a big health scare, and for a time, I wondered if the time we sent her off to the surgery room would be the last time I ever saw her.
