    Watch Professor Zhang Weiwei video on China Model and Meritocracy system you will understand why China will never elect a leader like Bush or Trump. China leaders are well tested in provincial levels before they have a chance to ascend to National level. They are the best of the bests.

    We need leaders to break the status quo, not about earning money, but to be transformative so everyone gets to a place where there's equality.
    Having wage zombies (1 billion of them) is not enough. The money paradigm is slowly killing cultures, families and people.

    • @tianyuanfan6039
      @tianyuanfan6039 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      'break the status quo', no one is ready for a complete transform of society, cause it simply can't happen at a scale the human society is at right now. Also, the way we think hasn't changed much for the past ten thousand years. You'd like to think we've become more intelligent and more reasonable, but we are still operating on Windows 95. Adding a new tool doesn't make it XP. This kind of transition in human society takes tens of thousands of years for you to see the progress, it's an incremental process, and there will be setbacks. Equality is one of all the ultimate Utopian dreams that humans have, like socialism. We will most likely never get there before we go extinct, but that shouldn't discourage us to try. Although some of the current methods and tactics some people use to achieve this goal is highly questionable and their true purpose might be quite appalling.

    When you are One in a Million in China, it isn't as special as being one in a million in most other countries...
    Regarding China, don't kid yourself if you think the latest generation is going to turn its back on Traditional Chinese beliefs and ways of doing things.
    In GENERAL, I have seen most Chinese families placing greater value on male babies. I have witnessed parents demand money from their daughter to pay for her nephew's expenses (Brother's son) even though she was struggling to get ahead in an expensive city like Shenzhen.

      From your surname, I surmise that you are an Indonesian. Would you feel funny when 2 Chinese converse in Bahasa Indonesia? If you travel around S E Asia where there is a large Chinese diaspora, you will find them conversing in English. Why? Because the Chinese speaks a few different languages. Those who only speak Guangdong hua will not understand those who only speak Fujien hua or Chaozhou hua or Hainan hua. Mandarin is a north China language which the powers that be dictated that every Chinese speaks and calls it putong hua (common language)
