Would this be too loud in the middle of the night in densely populated town ?

It’s not any louder than the city plows. I run it in the middle of a densely populated area and haven’t had any official complaint, but customers do tell me they hear it sometimes.

What type of tires do you have on this? Are you using chains?

I just use the normal turf tires. Works great. They make "wolf paws" which i think are better on ice, but we get so much snow that ice isnt usually an issue

@@allupsnowblowing Great! Thank you for the reply. I was thinking on getting this set up but for my residence since I am in no way related to the plow business.
Just out of curiosity: say I would contact you to plow or blow a gravel 1/4 mile driveway with 4 switchbacks at 10% slope (the switchbacks are around 100 feet) but where there’s no switchbacks it’s around 5-7% slope. How much would you charge me if I was a potential customer? Do you charge the same for plowing and snowblowing? Just curious if the set up would make sense. I currently have an rtv with a straight plow and it takes me 3 hours to do a single clearing lol.

@@UnitedStates. there are many factors that could change the price. But somewhere around $0.40/sqft. We get around 250”/year here.

@@allupsnowblowing I see. Yeah I plow my driveway but always have been curious. I think I called once a guy and he wanted to charge me $300 for the first 6 inches then $15 per inch or two there after but he didn’t know a live on a mountain. 😂 We don’t get too much crazy snow these years maybe a few inches here and there thankfully (thanks climate change lol) but when we do we get a few nasty wet storms.

How loud is this set up ??

Just as loud as any hydraulic snowblower of this size. I dont need hearing protection in the cab. The outside back alarm is the loudest thing.
