@@deblackviking Lol. You can’t believe haw hectic it is to always go to Tema to clear goods. Development itself is slow in the middle and northern regions because of these. Paying extra transportation cost is not economical. That’s why there are certain items only Accra people have access to, because they end up being meaningless to further send them up. Decentralisation is key. These central government offices need to decentralise too. That way, About 60% of Ghana’s population won’t have to go to Accra for simple assignments. That will free up the traffic and the tough service charges and rent in Accra. This is how a country progresses.

Please, do not waste money constructing a second tier runway which will still render the airport local. Invest in a high quality, high-end runway, capable of accommodating the largest airplane on earth - the Ukrainian Mriya a.k.a Antonov An-225. Investing big ensures world standard long term and a profitable venture. This airport will serve the middle belt. It is called development!
