My dad worked a couple blocks from Chinatown in SF in the '80s, and I remember in particular how big trouble in Little China ignited my imagination, imagining what might lurk below or around any corner. glad you're still kicking and seemingly so well.
As a fellow Chinese American, I admit hating many of Jame's roles. Hollywood's long history of racism stood in the way of opportunities for positive lead roles for someone like James. His endurance through it all deserves praise.

He's had so many legendary roles. But one of my favorites is his voice role of Mr. Ping in Kung Fu Panda. When he tells Po the story of how he found him and adopted him, it gets me every time. There's so much love in his voice when he's remembering his early days caring for Baby Po.

I'm 76 & remember him in 1958-59, when he played Charlie Chan's son in the short lived t.v. series of "Charlie Chan", with J. Carroll Naish as Chan! He was about 30, but still looked like a teenager! Loved all his many great performances, through the decades!
