I was in my late teens in 1969. Those who wore makeup usually wore to match much. Foundation was like plastering your face and neck. Then it went all over your collar, or anything you face or neck touched, In department stores, tops were full of gross make up smears from being tried on. It was so common! And yes, there was a stick, like a lip stick, that you used to “conceal” pimples and other flaws. It was thick.

I was in my late teens in 1969. Those who wore makeup usually wore to match much. Foundation was like plastering your face and neck. Then it went all over your collar, or anything you face or neck touched, In department stores, tops were full of gross make up smears from being tried on. It was so common! And yes, there was a stick, like a lip stick, that you used to “conceal” pimples and other flaws. It was thick.
