Great version of this song with Charlie Huhn taking lonesome Daves place and Brian Basset taking Rod Prices place. Both of these guys played with various original Foghat members at times in the past. They are much more than capable!!!
You know the band's okay when the lead guitarist is playing an old SG with a slide. I've loved Foghat since the first time I heard them in the 70s. Aaahhh the memories.
Damn TH-cam Censoring. This song is a foundation song for Rock n Roll. Thank you Robert Johnson for this Gem and thank you Foghat for recreating it. ❤️
TH-cam. Thank you for providing us with excellent music videos for all of these years. But, I must ask the question, why has restrictions been placed on this excellent rendition of Terraplane Blues? Their’s no graphic content or violent imagery. In fact, it’s a modern version of a great Blues song. Foghat deserves recognition for their excellent performance and a sincere apology from TH-cam.
I was so fortunate to see the original line up reunited again at a bar/club in Bloomington Indiana in 1998-99 (killed a few brain cells since then) if memory serves. Lonesome Dave, Roger Earl, Tony Stevens and the unforgettable Rod Price. They burnt the place down they were so freaking HOT. Sadly it wasn't too long afterward that Lonesome Dave passed away. It was an unforgettable performance. Wish I could remember the name of the venue(changed since then).
this got flagged as inappropriate for the youtube community .......... but........ WAP by cardi b and meg stallion is all good right? get fucked....... this live set destroys. foghat was amazing.
offensive?? really? Ya, it's an old Robert Johnson song and rumors of crossroads, hoodoo, and blues (the devils music as most religious folks called it because some African American men back then made money at the Juke Joints on Saturday nights and missed church on Sunday mornings. So the old pastors back in the day would tell the mostly female congregation that those blues were the devils music) yes, there may be some subtle references to the car \and a woman\ and sex, but that's up to the listener I suppose. I just hear a tune that gets you tapping your toe and making you move. But, what do I know??
I guess TH-cam considers this offensive because the song sounds like it's from The South, y'all (ya know, Southerners are all "racists," according to Hollywood and the media), never mind the fact that Foghat is an English band.
Lonesome Dave and Rod were Foghat. Period. I can't fault Roger for touring, he's got bills to pay, and he's nobody really on his own, so he needs to use the Foghat name to get people to come to the shows. It's literally just a tribute band with Roger on drums.
TH-cam, why is this restricted? This is classic music from a great band.
My favorite Foghat song. Period
So is "Slow Ride".
Why did I get a TH-cam warning saying this video may have inappropriate content...? Seriously...
Because YT is run by a bunch of morons.
A brilliant tribute to the great Robert Johnson!!
A man , his voice , guitar , his passion ! Sing it !
Awesome job guys!! Blues-Rock On!!
Just saw them a month ago. Great show !
Love this song.

grande foghat
Our old lost brothers aren't here anymore, but the new members of Foghat carry on the Foghat sound ......very well!!!
You know the band's okay when the lead guitarist is playing an old SG with a slide. I've loved Foghat since the first time I heard them in the 70s. Aaahhh the memories.
One of my favorite rock versions of a Robert Johnson song.
Oh seriously, TH-cam, what the hell is offensive about this? Y'all have lost you minds.
Some numnitz that doesn't like blues rock probably reported it as offending them
Damn TH-cam Censoring. This song is a foundation song for Rock n Roll. Thank you Robert Johnson for this Gem and thank you Foghat for recreating it. ❤️
It's too heavy for them.
It's the pedophile politicians , spearheaded by Adam Schiff censoring everything!
And they all, not some, all need to be put to death! They were exposed hence the censorship!

It`s because it frightens the old ladies !
Oh man, that guitar gives me goosebumps! Lonesome Dave must have been smiling down at them on this performance.Wow.
Rod Price too.
Always liked this song.

queballed I'm old enough to have seen them 4 times between Harrisburg and Philadelphia
Foghat forever
I saw them a few times in the 70s - detroit and toronto - I live in between - awesome place to grow up
Great slide guatar
Im glad this is done so well. Great job!
Done well. All things considered, the members of the group who are no longer with us would approve.
+keister bunny In order to be respectful, I want to achknowledge Robert Johnson. He would probably approve also
The real deal.
Awesome guitar. Slide is a dead ringer to Rod Price. Nice LP junior with humbuckers.
I dont understand why this has a warning before you can watch it.
Morons
the slide guitar player reminds me of RoyBuchanan
I agree with the Keister Bunny, Mr. Robert Johnson is smiling.
JLScott3178 I'm with U brother
"And I feel so lonesome..."
Why would you censor this? I don't get it!@#$$+!
O verdadeiro foghat tinha rod price e lonesome dave peverett , esse aí é genérico
Where is Lonesome Dave?
Impossível não lembrar de Lynyrd Skynyrd ...
No Lonesome Dave, not original but still a good version on it's own.
They have aged pretty well Musically, and physically.
You mean the drummer? He's the o ly original one in the band!
this got flagged as inappropriate for the youtube community ..........

Not bad, but not Lonesome Dave :(

Charlie's even better
What's wrong with youtube telling me this vid is offensive!
I really miss Charlie fronting the band !
How is this found to be offensive?
Don't show the SG player,I got no time. Kinda why I like ,,,,but... nothing else.
Come on TH-cam, what the hell?
😂🎸🥳🙂me asswell, what ? Content...?
Good, but not quite the same as Lonesome Dave.
It's different. It stands on it's own, though.
Google / youtube.. your censoring is becoming ridicules to say the least.

These guys are pretty good but his voice does not hold a candle to Lonesome Dave. Sorry doesn't come close. R.I.P. Lonesome Dave & Rod!

With all due respect, it's even better than Lonesome Dave. Great song. Great sound!
Why the f%€k is this offensive oops i swore 😂
