I think she suddenly realized she was interviewing the President and got scared and intimidated...I can't understand how she kept talking over him... I felt embarrassed for her...
Nigerians lack vision for have let go of this great gift God sent to us.A man full of vision, wisdom, focus and an articulator to the core (permit me to use this last word) .Shame on those who lobbied him out for their own selfish interest. Those shallow minded people today wants to be identified with him(GEJ) today because those their shortsightedness has failed them.I wish she(Interviewer) had allowed him to speak for himself.I wonder if she was the interviewer of interviewed? GEJ,please NOTE THAT,we miss you so very much and wish you'd forgive us and come back to salvage us from where you stopped.
NOTE:President Good luck Ebele Jonathan's transformation agenda is the beginning of the positive transformation Nigeria needs as a country{for those who really see}. All we need do as individuals in this corruption swollen country is to work on our selves and work with the transformation of the country.
Disappointed that i kept saying shut up and let the president speak, i was surprised that Jonathan did not shut her up. He is a kind and polite president. she was so blown away and kept repeating the Abuja invitation that Jonathan casully mentioned. GEJ 2015.
This is truly down to earth. Let everyone find out every matter concerning the president and the opposition and hold on to the truth. I'm casting my vote for him.
I have always seen this interviewer as professional. Don't know why she behaved this way in this interview, taking words from him, explaining his point of view, not seeming to be critical of her questions and no follow ups. It is as if she is encouraging and advertising him rather than interviewing him.
The point i always make is that though Jonathan is not the best for the Presidency of Nigeria but Buhari will be worse than Jonathan..He have no audacity to vie for the top office.
While you were in office, I helped you in all capacities, stayed up all nights, working with you. There was nothing you asked for, that I did not provide, knowing how much I love Nigeria.
Hi Mo, good interview addressing key points, however, I think u should allow the President answer the questions after you have asked them. Its a more cordial way and we would be able to know the real in-depth of his knowledge on the highlighted issues. thanks.
I have nothing against the president yeah since all the questions are on his favor yes he got the right to answer them smoothly, and also since so call journalist even helpful with answers bravo mr president. Leanson to lean is next time go to the international community like London, France, the USA even hahaha ghana, trust me you will be answering TOUGH questions. She is not a journalist.
So unprofessional in my opinion..She is not even allowing him to finish answering the questions before she starts talking over him ..she really lacks the qualities of a professional journalist. What a joke..if she was interviewing Obama would she be talking over him like that . In my opinion it was very poor
What we should be worried about are the rotten eggs in the system,the green snakes in the green grass that would go to any length to see they frustrate the good intentions and good plans ours president is putting up for us{NIGERIA GO BETTER.}
Do not put criminals behind bars. You would not get the money they stole. Ask them to build something, a factory and hire Nigerian workers. The load of Nigerians is not just for one person to carry. it would overwhelm that person. Last time we communicated in 2013, you told me that I would lose my freedom. Please, stop grounding me. I want to be free. My look-alike, your wife, Dame-P had made away with all the money, using me. Where is my share? Do not kill me for asking, bikonu!
Walahi Ms Mo was very rude in this interview. Finishing Mr presdent's words is rude. Even cutting the man in the middle of sentences to help him make a point clearer and subsequently changing the question. Really? Where has respect and decorum gone to?
Why couldnt she allow him explain himself. Rather than interrupting him every now and then, making him look like a child.. Totally unprofessional if you ask me.
My personal observation is that, she constantly interrupt the conversation making it difficult for the president to provide more detail on the subjects discussed. It may be rude. She'd lost the opportunity to capture and highlight key contributions where necessary. ..Not very professional!
Hope it's better now, right??? Israel rejected a leader and asked for a ruler. Then, the Almighty God l gave them a ruler who led them to destruction. This is your story today, Nigerians!!!!
Good interview could have been better interview, the journalist needs to work on her interview skills, not interrupting her guest, not be judgmental and not putting words in their mouth, though I am no fan of President Jonathan either several times I had to mute the volume just because the journalist interrupted and interjected too much.
this is a disgrace..total waste of 31 minutes and 27 seconds..she should never call herself a journalist again...cant even allow the man talk..making Jonathan sound smart
Its a privilege to interview the president but Mo Abudu needs to be professional, she was highly intrusive & leading The president has some achievements but lots of baggage, monumental insecurity & galloping corruption Our president lied to Amanpour that we had electricity Now he lies about longest coast in Africa, pls check the map for countries that have much longer coasts than ours, Malawi, South Africa, Madagascar, Libya, Egypt, Angola, Namibia
President GEJ, I stayed up for years working with you, how much did you pay me in NGN or in USD? I directed you well when President Yar'Dua passed on. Where is my paycheck? You owe me a lot! Where is the flat you promised me? Where is the land I asked for to be developed? I need them all now. All I got was few fresh fish to eat.
President GEJ, I , single-handedly gave you one of my personal email addresses to use. You made billions of NGN, where is my share? You are still using it. All my connections? All I could get from your wife was name-calling!
Very funny interview, who is Diezani's BF ?? Where is the stolen money and who enabled it?? How can you fight corruption when you are the most corrupt !!
I thought I read an article published by CNN sometime last year about this woman as the "Oprah of Africa" but with her compositional body language and professionalism here it is far contrary to the reality. To interview a president could be an exciting moment but does she have to lose it all and by the way why do they always ask him the same questions people already knows what the responds would be like as "the goats and the yams" the 20th century moving train and why did she euphorically excited for the invitation to the States house for an elaborated interview eh! and why GEJ is never steadfast to give conclusive details on his achievements. However the title of this video is not befitting in consideration to this interview for many reasons to my own point of view if recapitulating the so-called presidential media chat except of a change in the location and reducing the numbers of interrogators there is nothing here that got down to earth except of we are all used to mediocrity and it has almost become the norm within the Nigerian society.
Please help me ask Yuroba media ooo... Apologies to the average Yuroba man or woman on the street; but we must tell ourselves the bitter truth. THE TRUTH IS THAT YUROBA MEDIA DISCREDITED EVERY EFFORT OF GEJ THROUGHOUT HIS TENURE AS A PRESIDENT USING PROPAGANDAS. But non of them can talk now! Osibanjo is even saying that he would Start from where PMB stopped - a clear explanation that the vice President doesn't even understand what a good governance means or he's playing politics with the lives of Nigerians.
Is this Lady a Journalist or just someone who wants proximity with a very powerful politician. I just wasted my time watching this sexy lady. Why is she laughing and smiling.
Mo Abudu I guess U re suppose to be a professional journalist but you didn't present yourself as one.My candid advice to you is to compose yourself and control your gesture each time you re with a public figure like the present your presentation in this interview is unprofessional. Y putting words in d president mouth you ve collected your national cake pls check yourself and kip doing good job.
That's the thing, she is NOT a journalist with no JOURNALISTIC background... just a lucky woman who has plenty money and feels she can afford to be on television... not surprised she did a shoddy job here
I have a bank account, in Nigeria and in USA, I am still waiting for you to pay me. I was almost killed at a recreation center campaigning for your re-election in 2011. Haba!!!
I dislike Nigerians becoming expert critics. Don't forget that MO has interviewed Hillary Clinton,Babangida just to mention a fee and viewing such interview will justify that she is a core professional. But so many things could be going on in the background , the ambience and this interview setting. She obviously one this very rare occasion has acted out of character. Obviously, MO was nervous and on the edge here the reasons which is clear only to her. It was an election period and she could have been warned to act aggressive but covertly make the President look good. But this is not the MO we know. She came across, nervous, very tense and at some point ,her breathing was laboured.
Jonathan is a mumu...Nigeria does not have the longest coastline in Africa. Nigeria is not even among the 10 countries with the longest coastline in Africa.
Hey miss journalist you need some more training how could you ask a question and not allow the man answer and the same time you are talking over his answer. You ask him if he has any regret, you should direct that question to Nigerians their regrets, they were demonstrating everywhere and he president Jonathan didn't do anything to them can they demonstrate now freely, can they even smoke weed (igbo) now. Its now death sentence. During Jonathan's era dollar to naira was $1 to N 200, now it's $1:1600 naira life is better now in Nigeria than Jonathan's era.
This is the worst presidential interview ever recorded. This woman lacks the qualities of a journalist. She looks so afraid and lost. I regret watching this and I hope it doesn't air on international tv.
Larry chichi please take time and look up the BBC interview and see how dumb GEJ is.He never encountered BOko haram for years and we have lost lives and you still want to support such president? He says Government doesn't create jobs for the people?Really?Aint that stupid enough?Larry please you need to make your findings and I hate when journalist make this dude look good because he was never a leader to write home about since his days as a Governor and he ain't better now either.
***** Are you blind, don't you watch TV, CNN, BBC, etc... can't you see the lady up there has a very short memory. The moron she's interviewing was busy having his way. I now agree with Wole Soyinka, on the part of the society that need psychiatric emergency, it's not the leaders.
I wouldn't blame her for this obvious unprofessionalism displayed! I could see she was being censored and was clearly under surveillance. This was not a real interviewing environment. I could see an environment where the tone around her was "rubbish our Presido and come out to smell pepper or caress him and come out to get rewarded!". Seeing Okupe, some presidency officials and a soldier earlier parading themselves, I could sense a serious warning had gone forth to her. And as we know our President as a cheerful donor of US Dollars, a good sum of USD could have gone out earlier, so why wouldn't she speak for the President. I hardly heard the man's voice almost throughout the so-called interview. She doubled as the interviewer and the interviewee. In fact, we need to ask them if this was a real interview or a campaign script!
I hope it's better now???? Idiot Amechi group, Sentimental Yuroba media or agent of the Islamic caliphate!!!! You can NOT escape this 3 enemies of Nigerian future! HOW FAR NAH... IS IT BETTER?? IDIOT!!!
Talking with both sides of mouth is not professional journalism. In your with GMB, you run down the government you seem to be indirectly applauding here. By asking GMB questions, you agreed the state of the nation is below average, and you asked him what will he do to salvage it. Now the opposite is the case while interviewing GEJ. Compare this video with this [MUST WATCH] EbonyLifeTV Discussion with General Mohammadu Buhari.
Since when do interviewers nod their heads signalling agreement to the points being made? and since when do interviewers help interviewees buttress their points? .....thought she is supposed to be unbiased, or was there a memo before this interview we dint get?....... THIS IS NOT AN INTERVIEW....!!!...........I did not even finish seeing it...
The problem with the president Jonathan led administration is that they don't care about what private industries do to we workers, mostly Indian companies and Abu Dhabi companies, I work in a company which provides telecoms services that make billions in dollars but my salary is 70k for the past 2 years and till date I am a contract staff. And a new entry in a bank earns 140k to 180k, same contract staff and when confirmed earns more. Please this salary discrepancies should be addressed becos it spells doom to government efforts on employment and standards of living.
Mo Abudu is a terrible Presenter / Interviewer. Why couldn't she just keep silent and allow the president speak. Her interference is so irritating. You obviously need better training. Seriously, disappointment is an understatement.
teleguided interview, was this lady interviewer bribed, or vetted on questions to ask or she is an outright supporter of GEJ. poor journalism. it would have been a nice interview if she said nothing but just ask questions. each time i watch this crap my stomach churns. poor job EL SPECIAL. take this down it belongs in the garbage can.
This is a very useless journalist, I totally dislike this interview. How can you be the one asking the questions and also answering the questions yourself. You won't even let the man speak or make his point. I think you need to go and learn how to interview.
failed interview...she didn't maintain a composure expected of her heightened calibre....she was too patronizing. Shame! She should learn from this video and realize she ain't got what it takes for a tough interview.
OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL... DATE : SATURDAY 28th MARCH 2015 THEME : IMPULSIVE PRAISE Memorise: And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord, And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour. Luke 1:46-47 Read: Acts 3:6-9 6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. 7 And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. 8 And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God. 9 And all the people saw him walking and praising God: BIBLE IN ONE YEAR : OBADIAH 1, JONAH 4 and MATTHEW 10:16-39 Message Praise can be described as a spontaneous outburst of thanksgiving by a grateful child of God in God’s presence. When a person knows God and experiences Him intimately, he or she sings to the Lord with deepest praise! Our God is praiseworthy. He dwells in the praises of His children. Christ came so that men would be able to praise God in holiness and truth. The woks of Jesus caused men to rejoice and praise God. Luke 19:37 reports that: “And when he was come nigh, even now at the descent of the mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all mighty works that they had seen;” God created us to praise Him. This will be our activity when we are gathered around His throne in Heaven. No true child of God should have difficulty thinking of reasons why God deserves his or her praise. We should enjoy the times we have to praise our Lord, both privately and publicly. If your life is not filled with praise, it may be that you have lost your appreciation of God’s mercy upon you. Please, don’t forget what God has saved you from. Never take for granted what it means to have the assurance of eternity with God. Your lifestyle should praise God in holiness and good works. Jesus in Matthew 5:16 said: “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” Moreover, don’t disregard the spiritual kinship you enjoy with other believers. Take time to recount the blessings God has poured out upon you and your family in the midst of God’s people. Jesus in Hebrew 2:12 declared thus: “Saying, I will declare thy name unto my brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto thee.” As you contemplate the boundless love and mercy God has shown you, you will want to sing praises to His holy Name. Impulsive praises is spontaneous. It is involuntary and not pre-meditated. Here you can sing praises to God or mention His redemptive Names. Here you praise God because you are overwhelmed by His greatness, loving-kindness and goodness to you. Impulsive praise is credible praise. It does not have to be manipulated or orchestrated. It is a real and personal expression of a grateful heart and wonder-filled life that has encountered the Holy God. This is what God expects from you. Key Point : Sincere praise is the spontaneous response of one who meditates on the greatness and goodness of Lord. AUTHOR : Pst E. A ADEBOYE
And the award for the most UNPROFESSIONAL SHODDIEST INTERVIEW EVER GIVEN GOES TO MO ABUDU... This is what happens when people with plenty money think they should be on TV instead of investing in REAL professionals to get the job done. RUBBISH...
When you complained about Boko Harams as you main concern, we arranged and fought Boko harams by air. You paid all those I gave you. You did not pay me a dime, staying up all night to make sure Nigerians are safe especially at the borders. Those you paid were my military colleaque. Pay me, Jonathan. Please.
Thanks, you CEO of EBONY from ONDO-STATE, you've done so well the conduct of the interview, the decor and lieu is more than excellent. Bravo lady sister. Franckly speaking, this is one of the Best of Goodluck Ebele Jonathan and the major host exceed in all facete of Public Politic of interview. I don't know her but she exceed to the statut of Abimbola Coker of past year and the trip of Nelly Mbamtogun, if my spelling is right and good. I coded the TWO and let us be hoping we are moving and walk though slow and slowly, but getting it right.
Mo has been an excellent interviewer for years but i guess or it seems as if she was nervous at this time , hence her jumping in and making the President nervous is not right. It makes it look like you are arguing with a colleague but this is the President. Cenould it be because she found herself interviewing Baba at her home state in Ondo heighen the whole process.Mr President , i laughed when you mention yam again in 21.,40,also i like when he said ,"'im coming mg to that 2 to stop MO in her tract and allow him to talk in 23.24 jer to p...tstateaand I think the interview should be reviewd and a more calmer one should be done ,allowing MO to anchor but more calm and less intrusive. Above all MO did well and blame her for a wrong out of 100s of successeswain e cant blame her ag.ersnm
Your beclouded wicked sentiments Would not let your eyes year the answers nah... Leave your wickedness and you will certainly hear!!! I HOPE THE NAIRA IS #100 NOW??? MUMU!!!
Lovely...this guy has a clear plan to take Nigeria to greater heights. He is very intelligent unlike what the opposition wants us to believe.
Logical and clean, he is talking and communicating and not sounding like he wants to sleep like the one we now have
When Nigeria have a president
This journalist needs training. She has no patience to allow the man talk. Hearing this interview three years after, I have more respect for GEJ.
This is the best of all Mr president's interviews I have watched. Really really flowing here and so articulate.
I am still searching for Buhari's LIVE INTERVIEW too!!!!!!
I think she suddenly realized she was interviewing the President and got scared and intimidated...I can't understand how she kept talking over him... I felt embarrassed for her...
Buhari Buhari Buhari, Nigeria is well, We left this man and took a man who does not like addressing the nation how sad
2020
Naija has experienced the change
Now we are experiencing next level
I swear my brother
At that time Jonathan was a failure, but with a Buhari benchmark, he was success. This Buhari adminstration is the worst in the history of Nigeria.
NOTE:President Good luck Ebele Jonathan's transformation agenda is the beginning of the positive transformation Nigeria needs as a country{for those who really see}. She can’t do this to our ex president or buhari
This is truly down to earth. Let everyone find out every matter concerning the president and the opposition and hold on to the truth. I'm casting my vote for him.
I hope she will also interview buhari now that the situation is worst in Nigeria

Dnt seem to understand d unprofessionalism whenever a public figure is interviewed...
Nas El. I my exact thoughts, i'm dissappointed, apparently she is very overrated.
I have confidence in this man now! HE knows his stuff
I LOVE THIS PRESIDENT, HE IS VERY ARTICULATE HERE. HE NEEDS A POWERFUL MEDIA TEAM TO LET NIGERIANS KNOW WHAT HE IS UPTO AND DOING.
He said nothing is to equal to blood of nigeria. He cannot use violence to get to power. He did just that.
The point i always make is that though Jonathan is not the best for the Presidency of Nigeria but Buhari will be worse than Jonathan..He have no audacity to vie for the top office.
It's clear to everyone now even fv father mbaka can tell
Oh my God! Can this woman just shut up and let the President speak?

I swear. She didn't understand what presidential interview was, inevitably she was rude.
JOY AMA these thing are done elsewhere remember this lady here studied in the uk, go to an interview at cnn hard core n see what happens to u there
Your team is doing their job now but i hope this is not too late.
Why couldnt she allow him explain himself. Rather than interrupting him every now and then, making him look like a child.. Totally unprofessional if you ask me.
A good Nigerian
This lady pls shut up! This is horrible! Allow the president to talk for God's sake. SMH!
Are you just gonna allow the interviewee speak???
Mr present is right in this aspect
My personal observation is that, she constantly interrupt the conversation making it difficult for the president to provide more detail on the subjects discussed. It may be rude. She'd lost the opportunity to capture and highlight key contributions where necessary. ..Not very professional!

Now he lies about longest coast in Africa, pls check the map for countries that have much longer coasts than ours, Malawi, South Africa, Madagascar, Libya, Egypt, Angola, Namibia
Mo Abudu should allow her Guest to speak and enlighten her Audience. She interjects and interrupts a lot. She should be advised on this.

IDIOT!!!
AWESOME!
Let Mr President talk, please.
(stop interrupting him!)
Can she stop interrupting the man. this is a really bad interview. voicing over each other and all
This interview is so unprofessional. Let the guy talk.. Just showing how unintelligent he is .. ah han.. is Mo working for APC ni?
Since when do interviewers nod their heads signalling agreement to the points being made? and since when do interviewers help interviewees buttress their points? .....thought she is supposed to be unbiased, or was there a memo before this interview we dint get?....... THIS IS NOT AN INTERVIEW....!!!...........I did not even finish seeing it...
Is this really an interview?
The problem with the president Jonathan led administration is that they don't care about what private industries do to we workers, mostly Indian companies and Abu Dhabi companies, I work in a company which provides telecoms services that make billions in dollars but my salary is 70k for the past 2 years and till date I am a contract staff. And a new entry in a bank earns 140k to 180k, same contract staff and when confirmed earns more. Please this salary discrepancies should be addressed becos it spells doom to government efforts on employment and standards of living.
"I hope you don't think i'm harassing you Mr. President" Seriously? Is this a therapy session or an interview?
Very poor interviewer. Now as for the" president".....sigh!
Honestly this girl is shame
Mo Abudu is a terrible Presenter / Interviewer. Why couldn't she just keep silent and allow the president speak. Her interference is so irritating. You obviously need better training. Seriously, disappointment is an understatement.
Your success was working trains ....ok
once we get dat security thing sorted out
JAME MANGA .
YOU COULD HAVE INTERVIEWED YOURSELF !!! IF U HAVE 2 DO THE TALKING ALL ALONE. Shamefull and tasteless
You are not allowing the president to speak you lack the listening skills.go away jo
This interviewer is unprofessional and rude in manners when it comes to interviewing the president.
Vulgar and tactless in her approach.
Lol this woman. She just keeps talking over him
teleguided interview, was this lady interviewer bribed, or vetted on questions to ask or she is an outright supporter of GEJ. poor journalism. it would have been a nice interview if she said nothing but just ask questions. each time i watch this crap my stomach churns. poor job EL SPECIAL. take this down it belongs in the garbage can.
Miss you're less professional
This is a very useless journalist, I totally dislike this interview. How can you be the one asking the questions and also answering the questions yourself. You won't even let the man speak or make his point. I think you need to go and learn how to interview.
failed interview...she didn't maintain a composure expected of her heightened calibre....she was too patronizing. Shame! She should learn from this video and realize she ain't got what it takes for a tough interview.
Mo did not do so well in this interview. She interjected and interrupted the former President a lot

rise up and walk.
7 And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and
immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.

God.

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR : OBADIAH 1, JONAH 4 and MATTHEW
10:16-39
Message
Praise can be described as a spontaneous outburst of
thanksgiving by a grateful child of God in God’s presence.
When a person knows God and experiences Him intimately,
he or she sings to the Lord with deepest praise! Our God is
praiseworthy. He dwells in the praises of His children. Christ
came so that men would be able to praise God in holiness
and truth. The woks of Jesus caused men to rejoice and
praise God. Luke 19:37 reports that:
“And when he was come nigh, even now at the descent of
the mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples
began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all
mighty works that they had seen;”
God created us to praise Him. This will be our activity when
we are gathered around His throne in Heaven. No true child
of God should have difficulty thinking of reasons why God
deserves his or her praise. We should enjoy the times we
have to praise our Lord, both privately and publicly. If your
life is not filled with praise, it may be that you have lost your
appreciation of God’s mercy upon you. Please, don’t forget
what God has saved you from. Never take for granted what
it means to have the assurance of eternity with God. Your
lifestyle should praise God in holiness and good works.
Jesus in Matthew 5:16 said:
“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your
good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”
Moreover, don’t disregard the spiritual kinship you enjoy
with other believers. Take time to recount the blessings God
has poured out upon you and your family in the midst of
God’s people. Jesus in Hebrew 2:12 declared thus:
“Saying, I will declare thy name unto my brethren, in the
midst of the church will I sing praise unto thee.”
As you contemplate the boundless love and mercy God has
shown you, you will want to sing praises to His holy Name.
Impulsive praises is spontaneous. It is involuntary and not
pre-meditated. Here you can sing praises to God or mention
His redemptive Names. Here you praise God because you
are overwhelmed by His greatness, loving-kindness and
goodness to you. Impulsive praise is credible praise. It does
not have to be manipulated or orchestrated. It is a real and
personal expression of a grateful heart and wonder-filled life
that has encountered the Holy God. This is what God
expects from you.
Key Point :
Sincere praise is the spontaneous response of one who
meditates on the greatness and goodness of Lord.

Mo, you are a disappointment. I am sure you were paid for this but you didn't do it well.
Cenould it be because she found herself interviewing Baba at her home state in Ondo heighen the whole process.Mr President , i laughed when you mention yam again in 21.,40,also i like when he said ,"'im coming mg to that 2 to stop MO in her tract and allow him to talk in 23.24
jer to p...tstateaand
I think the interview should be reviewd and a more calmer one should be done ,allowing MO to anchor but more calm and less intrusive.
Above all MO did well and blame her for a wrong out of 100s of successeswain e cant blame her
ag.ersnm
Mo is just too unprofessional in this interview. This definitely shows that they both had a brief before the recorded interview.
9erian likes title, sha. Is it necessary to make an introduction with a long title.
