Did none of the commentators realize how brutal a beat Elky took? He had Jungle covered by 50k, meaning there was a 100k sidepot between him and Vanessa. Might not seem like that much, but it was more than Seiver or Antonius had at the time. She hit running 7s to take that from him!

There is no doubt that the best poker players are very intelligent and play percentage poker and can win more than less intelligent players but I love watching intelligent players who are also sociopaths or narcissists lose. Their reactions are priceless!.

I think he knew how, and that he was playing the structure early on in this heat, but he just go so sick and tired of having to make so ridiculously non-standard plays that he decided fuck this I'm just gonna play poker lol

What's going on between Dwan and Jungleman?
@@JOOXA389 worth noting there's also significant history between the 2. Despite what the commentators said, it was actually Dwan who challenged anyone in the world to a heads up battle, and said anyone who comes out on top vs him after like 500,000 hands of cash game heads up would get paid an additional million$ or something along those lines. The only person to "win" vs Dwan was, you guessed it, Jungleman. (I say "win" in quotations because Jungle was crushing Dwan like 70% through the amount of hands agreed upon and since then Durr has just refused to continue playing.)
When this game was played, Jungle was far and away the best heads up player in the world, don't know what the commentators are smoking... sure, Vanessa played this last heat flawlessly, but you have to remember how she got to being in such a desperate situation heading into the final heat to begin with. Jungle would blow her out of the park in a long-term heads up game back then and would still today.
This is the worse tournament format ever but the players are fun to watch.
Vanessa always looking for a scapegoat. She started wining when durr and jungle go all in and they chop the pot lol
