    A good evening onto you,
    To you Lord, your Lordship!
Now rejoice! Oh rejoice you earth,
The Son of God has now been born!
    Do lay out the tables
    With your finest linens
Now rejoice! Oh rejoice you earth,
The Son of God has now been born!
    Do set out the kolachi,
    Baked from the spring wheat,
Now rejoice! Oh rejoice you earth,
The Son of God has now been born!
For shall there come onto you,
Yet Three feasts as guests ,
Now rejoice! Oh rejoice you earth,
The Son of God has now been born!
And what is this first feast,
    But the birth of Christ
Now rejoice! Oh rejoice you earth,
The Son of God has now been born!
And what is the second feast,
    But of Saint Basil,
Now rejoice! Oh rejoice you earth,
The Son of God has now been born!
And yet there's the third feast,
    Of Hoy Theophany.
Now rejoice! Oh rejoice you earth,
The Son of God has now been born!
And what of this first feast,
    Will send you great joy,
Now rejoice! Oh rejoice you earth,
The Son of God has now been born!
And what of the secod feast,
    Will send you good fortune,
Now rejoice! Oh rejoice you earth,
The Son of God has now been born!
And what of the third feast,
    Will send you good health
Now rejoice! Oh rejoice you earth,
The Son of God has now been born!

    • @glib4571

@@istoria2111 "Malorussians" is an artificial pseudohistorical name, which Muscovites used to call Ukrainians in order to show them as "little russians" and thus justify their claim for the foreign Ukrainian territory. In fact Ukrainians always called themselves Ruthenians. And there still is a huge difference between Russian and Ruthenian: "Russkiy" (Russian) is an adjective which shows to which state or church modern Russians were subjugated. Rusyn (Ruthenian=Ukrainian) on the other hand is a noun and a name of title people of the Kyivan Rus - modern Ukrainians.

    • @istoria2111

Hahaha! @@glib4571, stop watching Ukrainian zombo-TV it harms your brain. In the document of Pylyk Orlyk, in that the Ukrainian leader in the typical Ukrainian manner asks a foreign ruler to get his peasant (same story as today), the author calls Ukrainians MALOROSY! So stop lying.
Using an ajective for self-designation, also etnonyms and toponyms, is typical for European languages. Poles call their country Polska, Germans or English people call themselves "Deutsche" or "English". The same "russkie" also called themselves "rosy", before. And the entire world also knew them as such.
Or did Ukrainian oligarchs succeeded to make you believe in this "Russians are not Slavs" pseudo-history for naive, uneducated nationalists?

@Goosa Poosa there is a strong flat earth supporter vibe coming from you. I would have recommended you to educate yourself more on the history topic, however as long as your brain is malfunctioned, I am left with the only option of feeling pity for you, poor boy.

Technically all the carols are Ukrainian, The Russians never developed the practice of caroling - maybe because of the monastic influence thinking it to be too pagan a practice?

isn't kolyada wide-spread tradition? I know a Belarusian who is so happy we carolled for his family this year, and described the tradition in detail.

Russians also celebrated Kolyada up to the 19th century, maybe even later. I am sure, that there are a lot of carol songs preserved, maybe under other names.
