Whoever uploaded this, thank you! This clip is the moment I discovered Frank Black. I didn't even know who the Pixies were, but I saw this chubby guy rocking out and playing the most kick-ass song ever and thought, where have you been all my life? I was 19 at the time and I had to wait to take a road trip to a nearby city to buy the CASSETTE(!) because I still didn't own a cd player. Teenager of the Year is my top album ever, nothing even comes close. His music literally changed my life. Thank god I had a friend who, because of my love for this album, convinced me to listen to the Pixies, and I haven't looked back.
@@FaxanaduJohn You guys do know that's Eric Drew Feldman on bass, the producer of "Teenager of the Year?" and for the record I prefer Nick Vincent: th-cam.com/video/QaViidD5xqo/w-d-xo.html

You got tickets for the Teenager of the Year reunion show next February at the Palladium?💥
I saw him in Austin, TX touring the album in the 90s. Small crowd. He sounded great. I will see him in Feb this year too.
This album is SUPREMELY underrated I feel. I can understand why people don't like it, but they need to understand I hate them.
I too have a deep hatred for these who do not love this album. What shall we name this movement?
Teenager of the year is much better overall, but cult of ray was still a great album
its just one of the best solos albums ever
@@bryansouthernfromVan TOTYers for truth!
I don’t under it. This album is rad.
Nick Vincent what a drummer! Great drumming on Frank's first two solo records.
I'm just another Frank Black disciple happy to have wandered across this gem. Thank you.
Love the video in the background with "Chip" rocking out!
Lyle Workman great guitar player!
I love the early Workman look! Long hair and dungarees. 🤣
I adopted the lyrics of this song as my life mantra and never looked back
Can’t wait for the reunion 😮
whoevers idea was to put andy in the backround is a genius
it was their road manager at the time's idea
Eric Drew Feldman On Bass the maestro
thanks for this upload. I wish we had a better quality somewhere though.
Love the casual guitar change at beginning 😎
It’s out of tune mate...
Wow! My favorite Frank Black song. Thanks!
Larry Fine was always my favourite drummer.
Though underrated all the time,
Louis was so very fine.
Without him, imagine!
Did you know he could play the violin?
Utterly superlative. His Teenager work is amongst the finest of all time.
