if I'm not mistaken, after visiting inazuma the traveler got the electro power where in lore he can run at lightning speed (no confirmation of this but it happened in cutscenes)... so him letting Katheryne die is a plot hole horrible.
Not a plothole, traveller was resonated with dendro in Cutscene and except when pushed to brink against Childe was never able to wield two elements simultaneously
