oh my goodness, the Dickensville! I worked at White Rose in the early 80s, along with my mum and my sister. Such fun stuff at Christmas. Thanks for the smile at the memory.
Just getting around to watching these. Have to say I CACKLED when Costco came into view with the background music. I'm in Salisbury NB, and I avoid that place in December, at all costs 😂
Such a fun episode. Nancy, your shawl with the beads is absolutely gorgeous. Loved watching the cooking. I think I am going to have to give the cottage cheese flat bread recipe a try.
Thanks for going down the Dollarama Isle. I got an idea for gift boxes instead of bags. And yes you should knit baubles. Haha. I am making them for the first time and having so much fun. For next year you could maybe think of doing a bundle of bauble patterns that match your sock patterns? Or maybe you have done that already. Happy holidays!
Well!!! I think that's a great idea for a bundle - baubles to match the socks 🤓 Hmmmm...something to think about for 2025 🤔 I was just thinking about knitting some. Noelle from Knits and Pieces has been showing some great ones
I remember white rose and the little skating rink, so precious. Did I see that you were born in Andover? That is where my mother is from. Have lots of cousins there.

It's definitely vintage at this point 🤓
I’m with Sam, the skaters are joyous!
At least I can turn the music off and the skaters can skate without that tinny 1980s music box 😂
Thank you for the Jamie Oliver trick with the parchment paper. I had NOT heard of that! Game changer!
Wrestling with parchment paper is a pain in the ass 🤓
I really miss White Rose! They had so many things that you can't get anywhere anymore.
Thanks for the granola recipe, making it now while I watch. 😊
I was just saying that to someone, that there was such a huge selection of so many crafts!
I used to do a lot of crafts and shopped often at White Rose. Good luck to both of us and tomorrow’s weather.
They had such a great selection didn't they?!?!
Morning Nancy 🎉🎉

Elaine 😍🏡
Morning Elaine...I'm a few days behind, but it's always lovely to see you here every day. Thank you for taking the time to say hello 🥰
Hi Nancy. Thanks for the podcast. Catch up with you again soon. 😊
My pleasure❣️ See you tomorrow 🤓

It felt appropriate 🤣 This time of year just has the feeling of dread!

Thanks Carol ❣️ It's surprisingly good...you don't know how it's going work, bit it does 🤓
I love Dickensville! So retro!
It is very retro and I'm horrified that 80s is retro 😄 It just feels like yesterday!

Hello from Swansea, Illinois. ❤❤❤❤❤
Hi Janet 💕
Both recipes look and sound great! Thank you. Salam wa sa’aadah
Thank you Linda 💕
The skaters have had too much Christmas Cheer!
Definitely!!! The eggnog must have had lots of rum in it 😆
Looks yummy!
It is 🤓

Hi Trish 👋 Yes I was born in Andover and we lived there till I was 7 and then we moved to Whitchurch, closer to Basingstoke
Excuse me? Minus 12°. Our thermometer doesn’t go that low here in the UK. 😊😊😊😊😊
Haha...it's going to get much worse 🥶
