    This video series is super helpful for me who’s coming from industrial craft/build craft and being completely lost with how this mod works. All the hard work is appreciated

    according to the wiki, the energy upgrades increase the efficiency of the machine as well as the buffer, which makes it important early game when you're gonna be running out of energy quickly.

    • @Mondays3
      @Mondays3  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      That would make a lot of sense if they do, do that. I had no idea. Thank you for the tip!

    • @askmiller
      @askmiller 3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      @@Mondays3 Actually after googling, what I said is mostly correct, with the one exception being the water separator machine. To prevent unlimited free energy issues since you can burn off hydrogen, you can't actually make that machine more efficient, and thus it just increases the buffer.

    What an amazing tutorial. Nice pace, pretty good information. I am hooked with Oceanblock (modpack) and I have never used Mekanism before. Great work! (I already watch 100% of the previous video too!!)

    • @Mondays3

      OOO oceanblock sounds fun! I've not heard of that. I imagine it is similar to sea block on factorio or minecraft's skyblock! I'll have to look into it. I am glad you found my videos helpful!

    Love the video, truly opened up mekanism for me. But please, at least make the horn quieter. I can live with the swipe and the quack because theyre around the same volume as your voice in these. But the horn is louder, so ill bring the video up to a certain volume where i can hear it comfortably and then GAH THAT FUCKING HORN blasts my ears. As someone whos especially sensitive to loud sudden noises i would really appreciate if youd just lower the volume on the horn, or have a small little warning text in the corner somewhere. Despite all that, thank you for the tutorial. ❤

    the purpose of the combiner is when you get to x5 resources efficiency you can actually feed 1/2 of the crusher output into the combiner and send it to the beginning of the process and get infinite resources.

    You can also waterlog the electric pump which makes it easier to take up less space

    • @alive527

      @Mondays I tested this again, I was wrong, but one bucket worth underneath the pump is fine. The ftb wiki says with a 4x4 area its infinite but its infinite with 1 block under it too.

      @@alive527 YOU LIED!!! HOW COULD YOU! lol. No problem. That wiki I ignore now anyway, the thing is so outdated

    • @alive527
      @alive527 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Mondays there is two wikis and both of them are outdated its so sad, especially since the mod hasnt even had an update since 2020, the least they could do is update the wiki

    • @Mondays3

  • @fullercrane1795

    In skyblock there is no ores. But we can get iron chunks which combine four of them and smelt it can make one iron ingot.
    Theres a red oroaked flower which only grows on redstone ore. Which is impossible to get any ore without the combiner. That's the one and only use I've seen for it.

    • @Mondays3
      @Mondays3  ปีที่แล้ว

      Someone said the combiner is used for 5x ore processing as you can feed some back in to the system to get infinite ore. I haven't tested it but that's pretty cool
