So as a thresh one trick
Why he never collect the souls? Because he rather use his position and utilises the W to save or bring closer to action his allies.
In scenarios like this, when his team winning the snowball and the not loose the shut down money are more important then the bulkiness and dmg on himself.
However I do represent an other playstile as well, I pretty sure he knows what he is doing and did some pretty good hooks.
