That makes me sad. Stellar is trying to make in the kpop world, but the only way they have been able to get attention is through sexy concepts. That is okay if they feel empowered and comfortable, but if they don't it is just another case of women being forced sexualize themselves to make a profit. I hope their wishes are respected by management. The song is really good. It doesn't need an overly sexy concept to sell.
They complained because initially their company had wanted them to wear more revealing underwear than they did. If they had an overt problem with the concept ideally, they probably would've talked amongst each other about being uncomfortable with the leg slit dress and have worn something even less revealing than that. I think now that they are slowly getting used to the concept, and Jeonyul even stated that she likes the sexy concept!
Jeonyul has always looked like she was into it to me. I liked how their most recent comeback was still sexy, but less overtly so. It seemed like all of the girls were into it his time. They are coming back again this summer and I am really looking forward to it. Their music is great and they are lovely girls who deserve to succeed.
I agree! Sting was a very good comeback and everyone seemed to enjoy it. If anything I'm pretty sure it was Jeonyul and Minhee were okay with the concepts before but I'm happy that everyone was able to enjoy this comeback, as theres nothing more I want for my ultimate bias group! I'm also really hoping their release is in early July so it overlaps with my birthday. I'm looking forward to another great Stellar release (but i definitely am hoping for a dance track to follow up on sting!)
They had a really nice equivalent of this clip but where they wear red and black (not the official version), but the clip is no longer available on TH-cam for the exception of the ones done by Amateur camera men. What a disappointment.
