I use to live in Beaver Creek Oh and now in Illinois so surrounded by rust. Have a one ton box truck that will require removing the box to properly repair rust damage. I enjoy your success in making repairs happen.
@@MrFixit1 among many of my projects is a CX500 that hasn’t run since 2006. Amazing how many things are wrong with a motorcycle last operated by a 15 year old kid.
@@geraldtrice4894 You aren't kidding. I have a video of a good example of what your describing. Except I do not know the previous mechanic, but it was a boarder line debauchery nun the less.
I feel you. My rear shackles are fine. My front shakel is rotted through the entire frame rail under the shakel itself. Definitely not easy to work on these old trucks.
I chuckled when you said your penetrating lubricant of choice, mine is oxy acetylene. I admire how you stuck with that one.
Excelled job, you have given me the confidence to repair the frame on my rusty old Ford
Inspiring.
Thank you so much.
I can taste Alaska rust! Mmmmm

I'd rather work on old rust than a new P.O.S. computer infested nightmare.
Fluid Film!!!
How much do this type of job cost
I have no Idea. I would imaging it would be more that it's worth. I would say somewhere between $500 - $1000 but may be way off.
Iowa rust tastes about the same
Redneck wine tasting tip. Hilarious. Road salt lol
Got to let the viewers know! LOL
