@@ifve_0 dear I am also 13 and at starting my weight was 58kilos I was so sad because whenever I put my favourite dresses I looked so huge ...I ate a loot is snacks and foods...Until one day I looked to mirror and I was sad of myself and then I set up my mind for a weight loss journey...I never expected huge results I just wanted to achieve my goal of 45kg...and it's been 2months since I started my journey I ate healthy for 6days of a week and then the 7th day is my cheat day...but sometimes I cheat on the other days too... And now I'm at 53kg Although I've only lost 5kg in 2months I'm really happy with it...I just never thought that I could achieve it and I'm still working hard...I'm writing this message just right after my workout with Jo... So if I can then u too can... I hope that this will bring you some confidence and motivation... 😍

How I am staying consistent. I think of how much fun I will have on each workout. I kind of envision you as my trainer - who is alllways kicking my butt each day. That and I am finally losing inches because of your workouts. I haven't lost inches in a long time. Slow and steady of course.
Last year, I was doing great with exercise and weight loss. These videos were a huge help. But, then I was diagnosed with breast cancer and during chemo, I just didn't have the strength or the motivation to keep working out. I'm 1-month post chemo and I've gained all of last year's weight back. But, I'm happy to say I'm getting back into it. I can't make it through a full video yet, but I'm excited to build up to that and see the progress!
I also diagnosed with breast cancer and I also have been through Chemotherrapy as well and im only38 years old but I am sure you will be fine and be strong and I am sure you can do more than 30 minutes hopefully you get better, take care
remember, DO NOT race with jo. go with your own pace. all you need to do is do every movement with full energy. i know its hard but push yourself. youre doing great
Exactly, work on perfecting the exercise movement then workout on religions because they will come and if u workout 4 days a week they will come pretty quick (in a few weeks you will notice improvements and then soon you too will be keeping up with her most of the time lol)
It was amazing doing jo's workout it got me all sweaty and tired with my muscles hurting now its a second day and i plan to push through this for the rest of my life btw im 13
exactly this, its so silly for us who are starting out to think we can do this at her pace. thinking that way is so demotivating. i cant keep up with her and im just starting out, i have to work on the movements and doing them correctly/safely and with time as my stamina builds I know I will get better at the workout.

I’ve been doing Jo’s workout for about two weeks now & I can tell the difference in my mood & my energy. Haven’t seen any results yet, but I’m gonna keep going!! Currently at 202 lbs & my goal is to get down to 180 !! Y’all wish me luck !!!
Good Luck! Jo's been amazing. I only recently started but I was about 180 in April and am currently 166-63. She's definitely been an improvement for me. Trust that you've got this and remember there's trial and error.
I just really started being consistent with finishing the 20-30 min workouts for about two weeks now and I can see a little difference. I started at 171 lbs, now im between 162-164. My goal is 130 lbs by summer 2024. Thanks for motivating me!!
@@niyadadon1977 I do them all! Every day I do a different one. I workout for a hour when I do. On the videos that are 10 to 15 minutes long I do 3 of those.
This is my second Jo workout. I would call myself an active person and I workout regularly. Your workout videos don‘t get boring. They get me sweating but are not brutal. They boost my mood and I feel that they get my muscles working. I love that you do them barefoot which I always do. Thanks for your work! I think I will stick around. I've been doing your exercises for almost 2 months. (Started July 26th) Along with dieting, I've lost 32 pounds! Starting weight was 289. Currently at 257. 😄 My goal is to get to 180 pounds by this time next year. I couldn't be more grateful for finding your channel. ❤❤❤

I have been doing her workouts for 50 days straight without missing any days. And here's my honest growth. Lost 10 pounds. Flatter tummy, thinner thighs. I took a break after these 50 days for 4 days for recovery and I lost a good part of this 10 pounds during that time. I was 140 lbs and now 130. I didn't have an entirely clean diet. Her workouts truly work. Now I'm back on track again.
@@EmanDZaman different workouts every day. I tried to do 1 hour morning and evening. (I know that sounds like a lot 😅) Because I wasn't that strict with my diet. I chose random workouts of her and tried to do every single one of them.
Although I have some physical limitations that prevent me from doing all of Jo’s workouts- the ones I can accomplish give me a mental and physical renewal that everything is possible, with a little effort. Same here. I suffer feom rheumatoid arthritis... I can't jump a lot, I can't raise my arms that much, but I do most of her routines, because she's the only one I've seen with the kind of work outs for my condition

I did it!!! I feel like crying right now. I didn't think I was capable. I felt so unfit for such a long time and always put the 30 minute workouts off for when I was ready. I just did it now even though I didn't feel ready and I finished it without stopping!! It wasn't easy but I really can't believe that I did it
When I first started doing your workouts I weighed 189 lbs. Working out for 4 months on top of intermittent fasting I got to 160 lbs. Unfortunately I lost all motivation over the summer and gained all of my weight back. I just finished this workout and remembered how much fun your workouts are. Hi Jo! I have been apart of this community for about 6 months now. I really love how many different kinds of workouts you share. I love how there isn't a bunch of ground work. I struggle with pushups and situps and they seems to hurt and discourage me more than anything. Therefore I appreciate all the unique and achievable moves. Just like the ones in this video. Working out with Jo has given me more energy and strength to get through the day. My job requires a lot of sitting at my desk at home but I try to get a workout in with Jo at lunch or if it’s a short one during my breaks. I just found out I have endometriosis. I did her workouts for a month straight and it made me feel good and less bloated at times. Recently I stopped doing them cause of workload and i felt depressed and stuck in my body. Yesterday I did them again, and honey my back cracked 😂. And I did the recent tabata and it made me feel great again. I cannot wait to do this workout tomorrow. ❤️ for people that go through this, you are not alone. I don’t have much time during the day but I will incorporate it as much as I can.
girl i have that also, and yes it can be very painful. but sometimes with me i noticed that ifi move around and get in alil workout my cramps will subside. but dont take my word for it thats not how it is every month. sometimes you will hve to lay there with the heatin pad on and a nice hot cup of tea. well that helps me.. you"ll get throu it thou..... good luck too u girlie......
Endometriosis is a terrible and painful thing, I'm so sorry you have to deal with this! I haven't been diagnosed with endo but I'm pretty sure that's what I have had ever since my severe pain started at age 16 almost 17. I'm 22 now and I'll just say it gets a little easier to manage as you figure out what works best for your own body!
@@ajoyfullsound i haven't been diagnosed either, i've been dealing with chronic pain from around 13 and i'm almost 21 now. i've been on the heating pad for the past 3/5 days maybe. the one time i worked out, i was barely in pain for 4 hours and it came back, but i just finished about 20 mins ago and it's already back 😔. gonna try working out every day from now on.

This workout was amazing, doing moves I didn't think I could do yet. I have been doing workouts for 3 months now, 2 months following the weekly programs. Seeing amazing results and being so consistent is my best off scale achievement.
i started jo's workouts around november 2023. the first two days kicked my ass but i slowly got the hang of it. but then festive season came around and i stopped early december due to just being busy but also being lazy/making excuses. i have however started working out again on the 9th of january 2024 and i actually broke down because i couldnt keep up with her like i did before. i was tired a lot faster and the workouts just seemed a lot harder like it those first two days that i started. im doing my best to be kind to myself and have patience. you can only get out what you give in so keep on trying. every bit counts. consistency is definitely key. good luck to those that are still kicking ass through their weight loss journey and to those that have just started. you can do this! :) (this is my day 3 - i can send updates if anyone would like :D )

Started this with 20-30 mins brisk walk on 22/9/24 my weight was 55.8kg,today i.e 28/9/2024 my weight is 54.6kg,no strict diet,I'm an Indian so roti,rice and sabji,chicken,fish,eggs with a bowl full of salads is my daily diet but i did control the portion,no sweets,no junks,3-4 litters of water,Jo is the best,her workout is the only one which doesn't make me tired or out of breath despite of sweating like a pig and jumping like a horse 🐎
Took me 1 full week to complete this work out. Today I finally was able to complete the entire 30 mins. I won’t lie there were numerous times where I wanted to just stop. Out of breath and feeling every single move. It’s only expected after 1 year and 6 months with no exercise and a weight gain of 50lbs. I finally have the motivation I needed to start again. 3. More weeks until indo a weight check and a image comparison.
I am so happy I found your videos Jo! 45 years old and finally in a place mentally where I'm ready to find myself again. Part of that is getting myself into better health. Oh my gosh, I stopped multiple times during this workout to catch my breath, but then I finished it. Even at the end I was perspiring like crazy. I’ve been afraid to do intense workouts because I would be super sore the next day. But I know with these, my muscles will not be sore and I will continue tomorrow. Thank you Jo! ❤

I started doing grow with Jo workouts this January, starting off doing the 15 minute ones 3x per week to now doing the 30-40 minutes ones 5x per week. It’s the only exercise that keeps me motivated and that I actually love. I have lost 18lb’s so far, my clothes fit so much better, I’m getting compliments, i feel happier mentally, I have one more stone to loose to get to goal and cannot wait to see how my body will look come summer (uk). It’s sweaty, it’s fun, Jo is so bubbly and happy and likeable. Start off small and work your way up. Never in a million years did I think I would be working out 5x a week for minimum half an hour. (Female, age 35, mom of three). Another inch off my body and I will be back in my size 10’s 🎉

Hi everyone, I am proud of myself. I may not have gone as fast, as hi or as low, but I stuck with it. I just came back this week after giving up for a bit, but I know I can't do that so I have to try as much as I can. this was my first GrowWithJo workout and it was tough! but i found it so much easier to just keep pushing myself through the workout. i am trying to lose weight i’m starting at 208 trying to get down to at least 170 (which was where i was before i had hypothyroidism for a few months). gonna try to stick with these workouts and start with a 30 minute one every other day!

This. Is. Everything!!! Oh my gosh, I’m 18 months postpartum and I’ve been struggling so hard to find a workout that I can keep up with but is still going to be effective and get me sweating. I so appreciate the heads-up window so I know what’s next, and also love that every workout has the walk “break” in between. I’ve been so discouraged by not being able to keep up with other workouts because they blast from one move to the next so quickly. This gives me a chance to get my breath back under control and sip some water if I need to. Ugh, I’m just so excited to keep working through your workouts! Thank you!!!!
I’m a new SAHM and we recently moved from a warm sunny place to a place that’s very cold half the year. My workout opportunities look vastly different now compared to when I was childless and lived in a warm climate. We also now live in an upstairs unit of a very old house and I’m sure our neighbors can hear every footstep. Your low impact videos are exactly what I need to keep my body moving! Thank you so much! I've been doing these workouts for about 2 months now, and in the beginning I really struggled with "keeping up." I thought it was an age related thing (I'm in my mid thirties) but it was just a stamina thing! I re-visited this workout tonight and was able to keep up with her, no problem. Just be patient with yourself, don't give up, and push yourself *just enough*... you'll get there!

I love it! Since giving birth, I've lost 50 pounds with exercise and intermittent fasting!😎 And that with lipoedema and a boost because of breastfeeding. I train every day and just eat normal things but not after 6 p.m.!

Last year used to do it..were of great help...with work out and healthy diet lost 10 kg and gained it back due to unhealthy diet. Now started again with Jo's work out...was at 75.8 and now at 75.05 Hope to drop 10 kg soon

How I am staying consistent. I think of how much fun I will have on each workout. I kind of envision you as my trainer - who is alllways kicking my butt each day. That and I am finally losing inches because of your workouts. I haven't lost inches in a long time. Slow and steady of course.
Last year, I was doing great with exercise and weight loss. These videos were a huge help. But, then I was diagnosed with breast cancer and during chemo, I just didn't have the strength or the motivation to keep working out. I'm 1-month post chemo and I've gained all of last year's weight back. But, I'm happy to say I'm getting back into it. I can't make it through a full video yet, but I'm excited to build up to that and see the progress!

Exactly, work on perfecting the exercise movement then workout on religions because they will come and if u workout 4 days a week they will come pretty quick (in a few weeks you will notice improvements and then soon you too will be keeping up with her most of the time lol)

exactly this, its so silly for us who are starting out to think we can do this at her pace. thinking that way is so demotivating. i cant keep up with her and im just starting out, i have to work on the movements and doing them correctly/safely and with time as my stamina builds I know I will get better at the workout.

I just really started being consistent with finishing the 20-30 min workouts for about two weeks now and I can see a little difference. I started at 171 lbs, now im between 162-164. My goal is 130 lbs by summer 2024. Thanks for motivating me!!

I can work out only 3 days per week, so I do them tue, thur, fri ... I really need to lose some weight, I started a week ago

This is my second Jo workout. I would call myself an active person and I workout regularly. Your workout videos don‘t get boring. They get me sweating but are not brutal. They boost my mood and I feel that they get my muscles working. I love that you do them barefoot which I always do. Thanks for your work! I think I will stick around. I have been doing her workouts for 50 days straight without missing any days. And here's my honest growth. Lost 10 pounds. Flatter tummy, thinner thighs. I took a break after these 50 days for 4 days for recovery and I lost a good part of this 10 pounds during that time. I was 140 lbs and now 130. I didn't have an entirely clean diet. Her workouts truly work. Now I'm back on track again.

When I first started doing your workouts I weighed 189 lbs. Working out for 4 months on top of intermittent fasting I got to 160 lbs. Unfortunately I lost all motivation over the summer and gained all of my weight back. I just finished this workout and remembered how much fun your workouts are. Working out with Jo has given me more energy and strength to get through the day. I just found out I have endometriosis. I did her workouts for a month straight and it made me feel good and less bloated at times. Recently I stopped doing them cause of workload and i felt depressed and stuck in my body. Yesterday I did them again, and honey my back cracked 😂. And I did the recent tabata and it made me feel great again. I cannot wait to do this workout tomorrow. ❤️ for people that go through this, you are not alone. I don’t have much time during the day but I will incorporate it as much as I can.

girl i have that also, and yes it can be very painful. but sometimes with me i noticed that ifi move around and get in alil workout my cramps will subside. but dont take my word for it thats not how it is every month. sometimes you will hve to lay there with the heatin pad on and a nice hot cup of tea. well that helps me.. you"ll get throu it thou..... good luck too u girlie......
Endometriosis is a terrible and painful thing, I'm so sorry you have to deal with this! I haven't been diagnosed with endo but I'm pretty sure that's what I have had ever since my severe pain started at age 16 almost 17. I'm 22 now and I'll just say it gets a little easier to manage as you figure out what works best for your own body!
@@ajoyfullsound i haven't been diagnosed either, i've been dealing with chronic pain from around 13 and i'm almost 21 now. i've been on the heating pad for the past 3/5 days maybe. the one time i worked out, i was barely in pain for 4 hours and it came back, but i just finished about 20 mins ago and it's already back 😔. gonna try working out every day from now on.

i started jo's workouts around november 2023. the first two days kicked my ass but i slowly got the hang of it. but then festive season came around and i stopped early december due to just being busy but also being lazy/making excuses.
i have however started working out again on the 9th of january 2024 and i actually broke down because i couldnt keep up with her like i did before. i was tired a lot faster and the workouts just seemed a lot harder like it those first two days that i started. im doing my best to be kind to myself and have patience. you can only get out what you give in so keep on trying. every bit counts. consistency is definitely key.

Started this with 20-30 mins brisk walk on 22/9/24 my weight was 55.8kg,today i.e 28/9/2024 my weight is 54.6kg,no strict diet,I'm an Indian so roti,rice and sabji,chicken,fish,eggs with a bowl full of salads is my daily diet but i did control the portion,no sweets,no junks,3-4 litters of water,Jo is the best,her workout is the only one which doesn't make me tired or out of breath despite of sweating like a pig and jumping like a horse 🐎

Took me 1 full week to complete this work out. Today I finally was able to complete the entire 30 mins. I won’t lie there were numerous times where I wanted to just stop. Out of breath and feeling every single move. It’s only expected after 1 year and 6 months with no exercise and a weight gain of 50lbs.
I finally have the motivation I needed to start again. 3. More weeks until indo a weight check and a image comparison.
I am so happy I found your videos Jo! 45 years old and finally in a place mentally where I'm ready to find myself again. Part of that is getting myself into better health. Oh my gosh, I stopped multiple times during this workout to catch my breath, but then I finished it. Even at the end I was perspiring like crazy. I’ve been afraid to do intense workouts because I would be super sore the next day. But I know with these, my muscles will not be sore and I will continue tomorrow. Thank you Jo! ❤

It’s the only exercise that keeps me motivated and that I actually love. I have lost 18lb’s so far, my clothes fit so much better, I’m getting compliments, i feel happier mentally, I have one more stone to loose to get to goal and cannot wait to see how my body will look come summer (uk).
It’s sweaty, it’s fun, Jo is so bubbly and happy and likeable. Start off small and work your way up. Never in a million years did I think I would be working out 5x a week for minimum half an hour. (Female, age 35, mom of three). Another inch off my body and I will be back in my size 10’s 🎉

Hi everyone, I am proud of myself. I may not have gone as fast, as hi or as low, but I stuck with it. I just came back this week after giving up for a bit, but I know I can't do that so I have to try as much as I can. With the 10, 000 to 12,000 steps I do at work each night and Jo's workouts, I can't help but to be successful 🎉 fingers crossed 🤞🇨🇦🙏❤
Second time doing this workout & I’m dripping with sweat. My legs were burrrrrning, and I kept saying “no more legs, Jo! Please!!” but you just kept pushing me! Thanks for the motivation, you rock!!
this was my first GrowWithJo workout and it was tough! but i found it so much easier to just keep pushing myself through the workout. i am trying to lose weight i’m starting at 208 trying to get down to at least 170 (which was where i was before i had hypothyroidism for a few months). gonna try to stick with these workouts and start with a 30 minute one every other day!

This. Is. Everything!!! Oh my gosh, I’m 18 months postpartum and I’ve been struggling so hard to find a workout that I can keep up with but is still going to be effective and get me sweating. I so appreciate the heads-up window so I know what’s next, and also love that every workout has the walk “break” in between. I’ve been so discouraged by not being able to keep up with other workouts because they blast from one move to the next so quickly. This gives me a chance to get my breath back under control and sip some water if I need to. Ugh, I’m just so excited to keep working through your workouts! Thank you!!!!
I’m a new SAHM and we recently moved from a warm sunny place to a place that’s very cold half the year. My workout opportunities look vastly different now compared to when I was childless and lived in a warm climate. We also now live in an upstairs unit of a very old house and I’m sure our neighbors can hear every footstep.

I'm new to this. The music is so motivational and her spirit really makes you want to push yourself. I've only been doing her workouts for about two weeks off and on along with another app. I actually look forward to her workouts. Thank you. BTW, I'm so glad she works out bare foot. Lol

I've been doing these workouts for about 2 months now, and in the beginning I really struggled with "keeping up." I thought it was an age related thing (I'm in my mid thirties) but it was just a stamina thing! I re-visited this workout tonight and was able to keep up with her, no problem. Just be patient with yourself, don't give up, and push yourself *just enough*... you'll get there!
I made it through day 1. It was hard for my body but my determination won. Today I weigh 183.8 and I am 5'3. Lets keep going

great help...with work out and healthy diet lost 10 kg and gained it back due to unhealthy diet.
Now started again with Jo's work out...was at 75.8 and now at 75.05
