    I feel like you could use one of your harriers as a test bed for different scars and such, since you have one to spare now

    It was something like 5000-6000 shots in like two months to get the delrin plunger to wear, that’s very unrealistic tbh, but might be a good idea to buy spares to replace every 6-12 months.

    There are 4 different springs and 4 different barrels for the harrier currently

  • @JosephArata
    @JosephArata ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Probably needs at least 3-4" more barrel, on top of what the long barrel provides. To take advantage of the faster pressure rise in the plunger tube from the heavier spring.

      You would think so but in my testing with the longer and longest available barrels it actually did not get much or at all better results. Of all 4 options , the shorter two performed the best no matter what spring I used 🤷‍♂

    I've been out of the loop for a few years, I'm amazed that 3rd party manufacturers are making things pumping 250+ back when I was in the game only hpa could do that lol maybe spending some of my tax money on one of these lol

    ‘I’m not a marksman” says the guy hitting the 100 with no optic

      While I appreciate the vote of confidence, that target is almost 2ft wide. One does not need to be a marksman to hit a 2ft circle at 100 ft. ;)

    Have you tried out a Shellington Kirin? I was wanting a Harrier but now I'm leaning towards the Kirin now...

    I'm pretty sure the springs that normally come in the box are both 1.4

    • @tyler9463
      @tyler9463 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think the stock springs are 1.1 in 250 and 300 length and the high powered ones are 1.6

    Can you look if occluded eye aimin could help you with aiming on the range(that using both eyes to aim so you might have a work arround for your left eye)

    I just found out that I can buy a brand new rapidstrike off shellfs bc in croatia not that many people bought them so we still have some

    Thats why this has the additional even longer barrel to go with the 1.6 spring....

    • @kingofgames234
      @kingofgames234 ปีที่แล้ว

      I tested it and it honestly was not any better. Shortest 2 did best pretty much across the board.

    I wonder if the barrel volume on the long barrel is to large for the pusher volume.

    • @Chamdar17
      @Chamdar17 ปีที่แล้ว

      OOD posted their data on a variety of combinations, I created a graphic for it that supports the 2/3 volume metric, i.e. a barrel with 2/3 the air volume of the plunger gives the best results for FPS, and longer experiences a decrease in FPS (due to friction), but the advantage of 2/3 barrel volume isn't really noticeable until you use the more powerful (1.6mm) springs, while the disadvantage of a longer barrel is evident regardless: i.imgur.com/ZfaaOzU.png

    What kind of toothbrush do you use? Just wondering.

    • @CaptainXavier
      @CaptainXavier  ปีที่แล้ว

      Some generic sonic tooth brush. But that is a recent thing. Before that I used and even more generic electric tooth brush

    Captain, seems like it would be mighty stingee, to git tagged by a blaster with that speed.
    Have you experienced that ? and was it Stingee, Ouchie, or Good God I think I've been bitten by the Anti-Christ ?

    • @CaptainXavier
      @CaptainXavier  ปีที่แล้ว

      It depends on the range. Typically, when blasters that hit that hard are used It is at long range. But yes, they sting.

    • @HalfDartHero
      @HalfDartHero ปีที่แล้ว

      It definitely stings 😅

    • @kingofgames234
      @kingofgames234 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Can confirm that it is just "stingy" at range and borderline between "good god" and "bitten by the anti-christ" in close quarters 🫣🤣

    There is another spring so there's 4 springs I went with nimber 3 which is one less than this one. The prime is just to hard for my old elbows. I'll keep my Swift for the monster fps
