I had a Worldbox world in this exact same map that went over for 3-4k years I think and the cycle is usually like this:
Europe divided, maximum 3-4 villages in a kingdom;
100 years after, nations start expanding/expanded and you can find nations with 5-6 villages;
Another 100 years pass, 2 or 3 major powers emerge(let it be Finland, Spain, France, Russia whatever);
50 years after that one major power emerges, unites 70% of Europe, rebellions and we are back to step 1 from previous steps.
(I dropped probably 200 people total on the on various places)(And yes, I rename nations)

1854 the year the great set empire was destroyed after manging to destroy 2 rebillons and manged to fend of two really strong ones for 1500+ years and have peace with them for three years and bulid a colony in the british isles they were truly a real empire
