Random theory based on a comment that I’m posting here aswell as the comments replies:
Since biblically accurate angels are basically all eyes, rings and gold then it’s very possible that stare is an Angel who was ripped of its wings. Stare’s whole thing is staring so the eye part is covered and gold is a pretty crucial part of stare’s colour scheme. I dunno where I was going with this but maybe like- fallen angel due to the sin of greed over bf?
I know it’s a theory but most of it’s wrong because starecrown doesn’t have greed over boyfriend instead pleasure, he stares at him in a friendly way, when he screeches it’s of joy, by the way at the end of the updated version it shows his true form, which is a non-biblical accurate angel, wings and halo, pretty much starecrown isn’t a fallen angel he’s an angel but pretty much dies because he finally met boyfriend
