You're wasting too much time with this guy. Let him go to Mikey panel's group and get answers.. he'd fit right in there nicely

Well it all depends because a bowler who would bowl as much as the pros or in other words 24/7 probably could “if they put their mind to it” change their axis tilt if they are determined to change it. It’s gonna be hard but it’s possible. Other than that yes the rotation is what usually changes all the time not the axis tilt 💯

You are so spot on JR! .. I am somewhat of a noob to bowling, started a year and a half ago. Doing pretty well, averaging around a 180 or so right now in league. I had my ball guy (he is really good) measure my PAP again because I felt that it had probably changed as I was learning how to release the ball properly and all of that. Even with my HUGELY radical change from where I initially began with my ball layout (initial PAP), my PAP basically hasn't changed at all. Perhaps 1/10th of 1 degree. I was really surprised! .. I mean, if MY axis tilt (PAP) hasn't changed from when my first ball was drilled until now, there is no way anyone is going to be able to change their PAP much at all, even meaning to. It is really really hard to change your axis tilt. We were playing around one evening at the lanes, purposefully trying to change axis tilt .. and it isn't easy .. on top of that, try making anything consistent while you change your axis tilt .. yeah .. GOOD LUCK!

I bet that guy wears left shoe on right foot and vice versa still saying it's walkable then wears them backwards and STILL walkable.

I have found different core types change my measured PAP. Sometimes as much as 1 1/2".
That is why it is always recommended to find a bowler's true PAP using a coreless plastic ball with a label layout.

Changing my axis tilt kept me from going around the ball too much during my release or chicken winging it.

And anyone can change their pap by spinning the fuck out of the ball. It doesn't matter if your fingers are at 6 or 9... if you don't release the ball consistently sure your pap will change..

Can you show this with a ball in your hand so people can see more thoroughly?

Duke and Sean Rash both come to mind to me. But that is only cause in the case of Sean Rash his normal release is a cocked release. I know he has the ability to throw an "uncocked" release. Most bowlers are unable to change their ring finger or thumb position enough to get a different axis tilt.

      That’s changing rotation not tilt
