The launch date of the Ent F is currently listed as 2386 and it's being decommissioned early after supposedly 15 years, which would be 2401. But the Titan -A wasn't launched until 2402 apparently, so 2403/04 is a more likely date.

If Frontier Day celebrates the return of Enterprise from the Xindi campaign and/or eventual launching of the NX-02 that would line up with 2404, giving Shaw time to complete 36 missions as Captain of the Titan-A.

Worf could be Raffi's handler. I had previously thought that Worf might be the head of Starfleet Security since Commodore Oh um vacated the position. I'm not so sure anymore.
This isn't trek. It's still Kurtzman Trek wrapped in some old school. The sets are dark and drained of color. The writing is terrible and constantly taking shots at old trek. The characters barely resemble themselves especially Beverly.
I feel the opposite will happen. This show feels different than horrible season one and two. I feel they would respond to positive feedback from this and adjust future projects.
@@kev30631 it’s all dependent upon whether they keep the right production team in control of future shows / they brought back Doug and the Okuda’s for season 3 and Matalis loves the OG movies and the show feels like it’s different because of that/ if they keep using production teams that have no interest in Star Trek like they did with season 1 or bad robot it will be garbage but matalis had free reign to bring back whoever he wanted to work on the show
I heard somewhere that the Titan-A space frame dates back to the original Titan from the early 2300s. It is actually that same ship heavily refit, with Riker’s Titan’s computer core, etc.

It was a strong start and after the abominations that where season 1 and 2 and I had low expectations for season 3 but i was pleasantly surprised. After watching this episode and when Crusher was so insistent on Picard not trusting Star Fleet and with all the call backs to previous episodes it made me think, what If season 3 is about the return of the brain bugs that tried to take over the Federation and Star Fleet back in season 1 episode 24 Conspiracy, in that ep the brain bugs failed but it was made clear that they where still out there, and as Crushers son said they always come but have different faces and this would make sense if the brain bugs have conquered other races then they would all be one and yet have different faces it would also explain why Crusher vaporized them just as we seen in the EP Conspiracy, so what if these brain bugs have returned and have successfully infiltrated Starfleet, also something missed by meany if you look at that final large alien ship and look at the middle it has the engineering section of the Enterprise D

But obviously its a new ship since it's not a Luna-class, and has the "A" suffix on its registry. The only dialogue that supports it being a different class is Riker saying. "Its the new refit Neo Constitution-class". However it cuts to a shot of the ship when he says that, you don't actually see Frakes say the line; suggesting it may have been added in post? Someone on the production (writers or ship designers) is confusing a refit for what is cleary completely new construction, it also occurred in season 2 of picard with the stargazer. This seems to be done specifically to called back to Kirk movie era and just for the memberberries, which doesn't fit the current setting. If the Luna-class Titan was destroyed or decommissioned say that in dialog and use a new design that is not a regression and I'm sorry but the side profile looks hideous. If it's a refit as they keep on saying on screen then it needs to look like a Luna-class. Even if they have a major refit like the TMP Connie the ship still needs to have the same shape and proportions and no registry suffix.
just saw a breakdown of the internal spacedock scene and turns out those reflections on Picard and Rikers shuttle are cgi. makes sense, I don't think they film shuttles with glass in them. makes camera work hard and reflections they don't want annoying
I still cycle through ENT , TOS , TNG, DS9 and Voyager in order watching a little almost every day for well over a decade. But I still havent been able to bring my self too watch the Picard series or finish Discovery..they feel too HBO for lack of a better, I miss the hopefull optimism, and the exploration of themes even voyager and Ds9 broke up the linear story with simple fun. Having not watched them all i ask, Have they even done a Holodeck went wrong episode or a mis-adventure/vacation slice of life episode in these new series or is it all buisness ?
I couldn't do the last season of discovery.....I watched the season before (Sammuel) recommended it on one of the shows once, so I gave it the benefit of the doubt.......and it was just terrible....... I'm either getting old, or just don't have time to waste on bad writing these days
Why are all the Sean's sooooo dark.an inside shots on the bridge.an hall ways everwree is to under lite. We need more lighting like on the Orrville. WHT is it because thay think it won't show how all the actors have aged. Thay should have my lighting.this makes it so depressing. At lest Strange New worlds has a bitt more lighting. This new tread is getting old. More lighting is important to give a better mood.
Why does Kurtzman Trek always insult Trek of the past? The whole model D sequence in the bar? Calling it the fat one that doesn't sell? And why is star fleet always corrupt? It's just strange. Oh also the seen where cpt of titan is degrading Picard and Riker and calling them space cowboys. Lol. That's what new trek is pew pew no thought !!! Not TNG it was measured and rational. It's a bate and switch. again very strange. Oh yeah I forgot this is yet another Federation faculty destoyed in Kurtzman Trek. Hinting at the truth ? Destroying Trek.

The federation was founded in 2161 but they’re probably counting Archers first mission that took place in 2151 lining up with 2401

Yeh, it was likley CGI but it could have been next to a LED wall like the Mandalorian etc.
Now it's time for Star Trek: Janeway. I would say Star Trek : Sisco but he doesn't want to come back.

So, I gotta say, too me this has been the best Picard episode of all three seasons. Titans captain is a a- hole, but otherwise great.
