Thanks for watching! I would recommend the patlabor movies. WXIII: Patlabor the movie 3 is the closest to a Satoshi Kon movie I’ve seen. You don’t need to watch the other two. It’s about two detectives trying to solve a murder. They animated raindrops on a windshield!
It's insane how these stalkers and weirdos treat the idols they put on pedestals like objects. The disconnect is insane to me. If you truly like this person so much, why infringe on their rights and personal boundaries like this?
That’s what I would like to understand a bit more. I don’t get attached to entertainers or media in a way that affects my own mental state. But I’m sure there’s more to it in the extreme cases.
This is definitely a top anime film for me, and seeing it having inspired western films (or at least Aranofsky) is cool to see. Satoshi Kon never missed, huh?
One of the few anime directors who could make the realism work. They tried to do something similar with Witch Hunter Robin. But if you watch it now it’s just kind of awkward.

for the ending I kind of like to believe that she and her manger switched 6.6. even if no. as for the K-pop culture, being fans of K-pop i do think it's okay to wait for them but also like not Croud them, seeing them from afar is okay, if they get close to the fans and are talking then okay but they allowed it ; but also they get scary things happening to them tbh, back in 00s a popular boy group called tvxq had a fan give them something with glue in it he had to go to hospital. and for the sexual parts a lot of newer groups are being put in that situation with lyrics or outfits or both (young possies mac and cheese, and new jeans cookie are some that we all kind of were lik wtf some of them are like not even 18) tbh the fandom has gotten better weirdly enough, still bad but better. also, parasocial relationships is what it's called the online irl
The animation of this and other films like paprika are my favorite style, it just feels so real and fluid

Perfect Blue is so disturbing how realistic the violence and abuse is, nothing has changed since the 90s it's only gotten worse
