Do The Job That You Like, Run For Your Rainbow 🌈
Everyone Have its Own Rain To Chase
dear owners of the Singapore Zoo. I am Anton from Moscow Russia. I visited your zoo and was extremely outraged by the conditions in which POLAR BEARS live. their natural environment is 30-40 degrees Celsius, but they live at + 30-40 (despite the fact that visitors are in a cool room) in Moscow it is not so hot in the summer, but the polar bear has a mountain of snow in its cave at any time of the year. I watched the animal suffer with my own eyes... for whom death is better than such a life. you must have compassion for endangered animals, do not mock them. this sight ruined my entire vacation in Malaysia. thank you, excuse my english
i HEAR you and understand where you are coming from. Alot of singaporeans, including myself often question why polar bears are existing among tropical animals in our tropical city. Inuka, the only polar bear left, was born and raised in Singapore, lived in a climate-controlled Frozen Tundra enclosure, conditioned to its tropical weather though ofcourse, the temperature is not optimal for them nor their natural habitat. Several Singapore conservationists and animal rights activists have campaigned against the presence of polar bears in Singapore since their introduction to the national zoo in the late 1970s. Following the animal welfare discussions, the Singaporee zoo announced that it would not bring in any more polar bears after Inuka (Our last polar bear). Inuka had died in 2018, as he had been suffering from arthritis, dental issues and ear infections. His weakening limbs also hindered his ability to walk. They also reaffirmed the importance of ending Inuka's legacy. All of us believe it is inhumane to keep polar bears here especially with rising temperatures in our tropical city. So no more polar bears will be suffering under the captivity of our Zoo in our tropical island!
@@alisafellah8932 this is very good news for me. much more, because polar bears are disappearing

Honestly I hate zoos and when this girl said she “loves animals” it irked me...but that’s just me😑😅
Zoos are the frontline of wildlife conservation, like it or not.
@@quetzalcoatlusnorthropi432 yeah but not the ones that mistreat animals
Quetzalcoatlus northropi well they rarely release the animals back into the wild and have a reputation of miss treating animals plus the animals don’t get to have NEARLY the amount of space they do in the wild...idk but that’s just me 😅
@@procrastinating.avacado1414 I agree they need more space, but the point isn't to release them into the wild. The point is to for them to breed so they don't go extinct.
The Singapore Zoo keepers also seem to really care for those under their charge.
@@procrastinating.avacado1414 Singapore's Zoo has the reputation as being on of the best in the world. They take care of their animals. You talk a lot but what have you done for the animals then?
