"Riders of the Purple Sage" by Zane Grey.
In the vast, untamed wilderness of the American West, where the law is often as elusive as a desert mirage, comes a story of justice, betrayal, and love. Zane Grey's "Riders of the Purple Sage" transports readers to a rugged landscape where the lines between right and wrong blur under the scorching sun.
Meet Jane Withersteen, a spirited and strong-willed woman who defies the norms of her Mormon community to control her own destiny. Her world is turned upside down with the arrival of Lassiter, a mysterious gunslinger with a troubled past and a relentless pursuit for revenge. Together, they embark on a journey that tests the boundaries of faith, loyalty, and love.
In a land where friends are hard to find and enemies lurk in every shadow, Jane and Lassiter confront a fanatical religious leader and a community bent on subjugating her. As the purple shadows of the great cliffs cast their spell, they must navigate a labyrinth of intrigue and danger.
Grey's masterful storytelling weaves a tale that is as timeless as the sage itself. Rich with vivid descriptions of the rugged terrain, heart-pounding action, and characters who leap off the page, "Riders of the Purple Sage" is more than a novel-it's an adventure into the heart of the American frontier.
Whether you're a fan of classic Westerns or discovering this genre for the first time, Zane Grey's masterpiece promises to take you on a ride you won't forget. Saddle up for a story of courage, redemption, and the unyielding power of the human spirit.

Good narration
The author didn't do to well with the research of Mormons before he wrote this untrue perception.😢
The book was originally published in 1912.
The book was a big seller. So, it must have reflected the perceptions of a majority of Americans.
Sounds like some aspects straight out of Chad Daybell's books, storm and all !
Whats with the laughing noises???
Ai just sounds awful. Hire someone to read it instead
We’ll get right on that when they finally give us the keys to Fort Knox.
