because the design is simple not overkill
The gallardo is a masterpiece made by Lamborghini/Audi (Audi bought Lamborghini) as this is by far one of the most favorite car as the V10 in that thing and the design it’s all perfect

Owning one over a year -falling in love more and more each day! And this is AFTER buying a new Performante Spyder in November 19. One thing I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND is VF transmission tune and Engine tune as well as new exhaust.
How does it compare with the perfomante

Great review man, keep up the great work. I was wondering, how's e-gear in terms of cruising? I'm aware that it is a much bigger improvement than the one in the firsteration Gallardo, but by how much? I'm really hoping to pick up a Spyder in the near future, and have already got a daily driver, so I am not planning on dailying. I do wish that the cabin and the transmission are peaceful and smooth respectively, for long trips.
It is much better than the first gen! It is pretty smooth I drove it in manual mode and I really liked it. It is still a single clutch so not as smooth as the newer Huracan but overall a fantastic experience on a timeless car! I hope you get one!!

I have a 2009 Gallardo and it's a dual clutch -hence the rev when downshifting. 2009... consensus opinion is the year you want.
All Gallardos without a clutch pedal have the electro-hydraulic six speed e-gear transmissions. The R8 V10 got a dual clutch, but Lamborghini didn't use one until the 7 speed in the huracan. Even the sesto elemento, which is basically just a Gallardo built out of carbon fiber got the e gear.
The single clutch transmission in the f355 in 1997 was capable of rev matching, that means nothing.
the 2009 5.2L Gallardo is not the best sounding because of a different engine firing order. The 2008 5.0L sounds are much better.
