I had to rewrite my response for this. I also had to rewrite this song. This morning when I woke up and read the lyrics I found myself thinking it needed more. So I rewrote this into this love song (so you were correct). It’s based on a true story (I know again). So many times I have written songs about someone, but they really did not care or appreciate it. My idea for this song was the person who is my inspiration for some of my songs not caring and being disrespectful for my efforts to write, perform and record songs. Thanks for listening and writing. For almost 12 months now, I have played guitar. That is correct 12. Before this time period I knew some basic chords, but everything else I had forgotten from an extended absence from music altogether. So, needless to say, I had no idea how to play guitar or write a song. But, I had a desire to try in my very limited free time. Which is difficult, because I travel periodically and I do not bring my guitar with me. So, looking back on this I feel good that I have made it this far. So many times, I have wanted to quit, but music has helped me stay connected. Lastly, I made this song into a style of a love song focusing on who I believe to be a beautiful woman. Thanks for your time. Hopefully this is somewhat enjoyable. Additional note: one of my neighbors has a sports car and he likes to start his car up and idle it for 5-10mins. Sadly his car can be heard for the whole song in the background. Since I recorded this with my phone there is no noise reduction. 😡
