Last night I coop with a random person, they're still lower level and I help them explore dragonspine. At the end they said "thank you for helping me, other people came to collect crystals or something and gone" at the exact same time a person came to the world and said "I need crystals chunk" I laughed so hard on that
Most people would come to my world to just to collect chunks. Lol. But I don't accept often co'z... lag but when I accept one, I get lucky co'z they come and help.
Most of the time there are a lot of rude people that kicks you out or when they try to help you they seem arrogant. But I have a friend in genshin that literally helped me go around my world. He helped me open all tps in monstadt and liyue and also helped me with puzzles and secret chests. We started at noon and he was still helping me until the morning haha and when dragonspine appeared on the map he also helped me find all the agates, puzzles and chest plus he was very kind too because I kept falling and dying and he's fine with it, he actually found it funny. I'm very thankful of meeting such a kind person and he was really fun to be with. So if you guys are afraid to make friends, give it a chance and you might find a good one.
I have a similar friend like this too! He's ar 52 or 53 and he occasionally joins my world to help me find luxurious chests and beat world bosses and such. Very nice guy!
its actually fine to accept other players with higher ar cuz some of them (atleast the ones i encountered) help you out and are actually pretty chill. they can become ur friends and BOI i benefit so much when they join my world, i feel ashamed and all but its also fun having people around to make life easier

I’m always open to world request since i had a lot of good experiences with co-op, one day i travelled half liyue with 2 friends, and i formed a lvl 1 beidou army, they helped me to unlock the statue of the seven in liyue lol

the first time people went co op with me was during the fischl event. I was new to the game and I didn’t know what to do and they literally carried me in fighting bosses when I just stood there watching😭😭
Oh god I had the same situation, it was the meteorite/fishcl event too! I was playing in coop and I was the lowest person on the coop team. I did like 39 damage while others did 1000. I have never felt so embarrassed in my life 😭
Lol the person I played with was at world level 4 and basically did all the work while I kept collecting slime condensates or mushrooms🧍♀️💀like there was nothing to do and mind you, I’VE NEVER FELT SO ASHAMED OF MYSELF😭😭
Dont be afraid. I'm literally a noob and people with 5 stars have come to my world and helped me with bosses and gave me tips on characters and artifacts. I feel bad that I'm following them like a tourist because my damage is bad, but hey, if they joined your world knowing thats its low tier, then they are explicitly there to help you and don't expect you to be doing much damage. So don't worry so much :D
When out of resin and my friends aren't available, I like to go with Bennett to lower world levels, that way they can use and enjoy their favorite characters while I provide healing and Atk boost. I also give advice so people don't make the same mistakes I did. After all people did the same for me when I started. But yeah most people don't allow to join.
This feels sooo similar to my experience. Been lookong for a box that isn't geo, not picky and I don't mind if it isn't pyro, someone allowed me to join their world I asked what their box was and if I could collect there then I offered to help them out with anything. Right after I got the box I got disconnected. I felt so confused.. Then I felt so bad I couldn't help 😣
Last time i went coop with someone besides my friends was the dragonspine event. The internet connection was super laggy and sometimes, i wondered what the host was doing. The host then decided to call the whole team trash and kicked us out lol.

Honestly, whenever someone ask to co-op's me, I'd think we'd have an awkward conversation, they'd chat dry, asking for resources without permission, or different language's. If they did help me without even taking resources, I'd feel bad since they helped me without even gaining anything, plus if I were to tell them they could get some I'd be extremely shy. [First experience with co-op] the first time someone persistently ask to join, I was like "sHIT, SOCIAL INTERACTION-" then I gave in and let them in. I was shy but talked anyway, they asked what I needed help with, I said Oceanid, and just as I thought, different languages as well as dry chat. It was quite hard to communicate with them, nor them understanding whatever I'm saying. I swear our conversation is EXTREMELY dry to the point I'd just jump off a 50-storybuilding. all that I remember, they helped me finish all my quest in Dragons spine, they murdered the entire population anywhere they went within seconds, and played for about 3 hours whilst my back hurting (I didn't want to tell them I'm tired + they wouldn't understand me, fr.) when I said "Ah, I ran out of resin" meaning, I can't do anything no longer, AND THE SILENCE WAS L O U D. y'know what they said? ""oh Ok wanna go to liyue fight" IM SORRY?? I replied "alrighty" MY BACK WAS CRUMBLING TO THE GROUND I SAY. and we went to Liyue traveled every nook and cranny, and noticed they weren't taking anything, after they said they were going to sleep, I searched up if players could grab loot, then realized they couldn't. Anyways, I'd sincerely like to say thank you to whoever helped me with Oceanid, since I was extremely afraid of it due to loads of players saying its hard to defeat. + Thanks for helping with my quests , and not even taking resources without permission ! they also told me "if anyone stole loot kick them out", which was nice! although I have no idea how to kick players, oh well ^^

It's funny because the one time I did Co-Op that wasn't just between my IRL friends and I, I actually got along really well with the people I was playing with. It was during the Chalk Prince and the Dragon event and we were all doing the Cryoregisvine thing and we all ended talking and joking about how I and one of the others kept on dying and we all friended one another when we had to leave.

When someone joins my world and says that, I milk it so much. I make them do my five star bounties, Oceanid and Cyro boss, etc until they decide they “have to go.”
I never accept requests because I just get mega embarrassed for no reason whenever someone is watching me play, I don’t even let my closest friends watch me do boss fights

I guess my Coop matchups are just lucky. I just join people and see if they need help. I usually type, “Just here to hang or help out” and thats about it. If they dont need help I just move on.
I actually met really great people through coop and we all decided we like each other enough to form a group chat and now it's absolutely chaos since we all speak different languages but use English as the main one. So basically keep joining or accepting people until you find a few that will be willing to play with you
Best way to get friends in genshin: Compliment their character! Make sure to not sound fake lol. You can also talk about what your builds are and who you're rolling for next, etc. etc. Another conversation starter is, if your co-op teammate has a limited 5*, maybe you can say "I wanted them too" (of course, after complimenting the character. it's just the formalities) or you can also say "I'm saving for them" This is just from personal experience, most of the co-op friends I've had are from these types of conversations. Maybe you guys can try it out! The best way to make friends in co-op is to co-op artifact, talent, and weapon domains. They're pretty fun as well :D I hope everyone can find a friend who are willing to help them! Goodluck to y'all and have fun playing the game

Dont be afraid. I'm literally a noob and people with 5 stars have come to my world and helped me with bosses and gave me tips on characters and artifacts. I feel bad that I'm following them like a tourist because my damage is bad, but hey, if they joined your world knowing thats its low tier, then they are explicitly there to help you and don't expect you to be doing much damage. So don't worry so much :D

When out of resin and my friends aren't available, I like to go with Bennett to lower world levels, that way they can use and enjoy their favorite characters while I provide healing and Atk boost. I also give advice so people don't make the same mistakes I did. After all people did the same for me when I started.
But yeah most people don't allow to join.

Been lookong for a box that isn't geo, not picky and I don't mind if it isn't pyro, someone allowed me to join their world I asked what their box was and if I could collect there then I offered to help them out with anything. Right after I got the box I got disconnected. I felt so confused.. Then I felt so bad I couldn't help 😣
Last time i went coop with someone besides my friends was the dragonspine event. The internet connection was super laggy and sometimes, i wondered what the host was doing. The host then decided to call the whole team trash and kicked us out lol.

Honestly, whenever someone ask to co-op's me, I'd think we'd have an awkward conversation, they'd chat dry, asking for resources without permission, or different language's. If they did help me without even taking resources, I'd feel bad since they helped me without even gaining anything, plus if I were to tell them they could get some I'd be extremely shy.
[First experience with co-op]
the first time someone persistently ask to join, I was like "sHIT, SOCIAL INTERACTION-" then I gave in and let them in. I was shy but talked anyway, they asked what I needed help with, I said Oceanid, and just as I thought, different languages as well as dry chat. It was quite hard to communicate with them, nor them understanding whatever I'm saying. I swear our conversation is EXTREMELY dry to the point I'd just jump off a 50-storybuilding. all that I remember, they helped me finish all my quest in Dragons spine, they murdered the entire population anywhere they went within seconds, and played for about 3 hours whilst my back hurting (I didn't want to tell them I'm tired + they wouldn't understand me, fr.) when I said "Ah, I ran out of resin" meaning, I can't do anything no longer, AND THE SILENCE WAS L O U D. y'know what they said? ""oh Ok wanna go to liyue fight" IM SORRY?? I replied "alrighty" MY BACK WAS CRUMBLING TO THE GROUND I SAY. and we went to Liyue traveled every nook and cranny, and noticed they weren't taking anything, after they said they were going to sleep, I searched up if players could grab loot, then realized they couldn't.
Anyways, I'd sincerely like to say thank you to whoever helped me with Oceanid, since I was extremely afraid of it due to loads of players saying its hard to defeat. + Thanks for helping with my quests , and not even taking resources without permission ! they also told me "if anyone stole loot kick them out", which was nice! although I have no idea how to kick players, oh well ^^
Awwe some people are literal angels🥺 Also during my co op the person was extremely overpowered and really encouraging and fought off all the bosses while I stood at the side most of the time cuz there was nothing to do🤧🤧
so i join coop for the childe domain and the host was so rude😭 my internet is not the best but its not like it takes me hours to load in. the host was super impatient so i was kicked and i did the fight solo cause screw coop

It's funny because the one time I did Co-Op that wasn't just between my IRL friends and I, I actually got along really well with the people I was playing with. It was during the Chalk Prince and the Dragon event and we were all doing the Cryoregisvine thing and we all ended talking and joking about how I and one of the others kept on dying and we all friended one another when we had to leave.

I guess my Coop matchups are just lucky. I just join people and see if they need help. I usually type, “Just here to hang or help out” and thats about it. If they dont need help I just move on.
I actually met really great people through coop and we all decided we like each other enough to form a group chat and now it's absolutely chaos since we all speak different languages but use English as the main one. So basically keep joining or accepting people until you find a few that will be willing to play with you
Best way to get friends in genshin: Compliment their character! Make sure to not sound fake lol. You can also talk about what your builds are and who you're rolling for next, etc. etc. Another conversation starter is, if your co-op teammate has a limited 5*, maybe you can say "I wanted them too" (of course, after complimenting the character. it's just the formalities) or you can also say "I'm saving for them"
This is just from personal experience, most of the co-op friends I've had are from these types of conversations. Maybe you guys can try it out! The best way to make friends in co-op is to co-op artifact, talent, and weapon domains. They're pretty fun as well :D

I had experienced with a “good” player so I stop allowing strangers to go into my world. That “good” player asked for some flowers in my world, then he went silent and steal all my crystals and chunks, luckily I found that early and block him, because I always mark the chunks location.
I personally need help but my ping just fails me ;( my game crashes when i coop
