Hello Chris, Kervin here from Patepluma. Funny enough, today is my birthday and your video made me feel very happy and humble today, thank you very much! Good timing! And thanks also to your community here who has been very positive, kind and enthusiastic about my wallets. I love what I do and it's a pleasure to share my work with others. By the way, you pronounced the wallets and my name well, no worries. Good job 😊. As to your question: I collected wallet for about 3 years and have been working on my own designs for the past two years and early this year I launched my company and registered it at the Chamber of Commerce in the Netherlands. I love crafting, so I would spend hours, days, weeks on making wallet designs before launching them as an official product. I am still new, so I am getting better every day. I also feel lucky to live near Italy, access to awesome leather quality is quick and easy. Thank you again for the support. Wow, I am featured on Chrispy Things! This is awesome! Best wishes from Groningen, the Netherlands.
@PateplumaCo. - Hey, best of luck with your new company! You make some nice wallets. I hope you’re able to grow, hire some employees and be very successful.
@@alan30189 so kind 🙏🏻. Thanks a lot! I hope to grow. But not out of greed, but because it is s wonderful feeling to share a common passion with so many people around the world. It's a great feeling and it gives me good energy. Glad I have your support. Thank you 😊
From Open Sea, Yes, from Rustic Heirloom, no. I never owned a wallet by them. The Zela wallet was inspired by a similar design I saw from a company in Europe actually. But I added more pockets and my own take to the closure and the Paracord, size is also different for euros, and it's made with more than one piece of leather: for fun color combinations. But the Zela 2.0, which has been shared with Chris for a future video, distance itself from any comparison. As of Open Sea, what an honor to be compared to them. Mike at Open Sea has inspired many of us in this world of leather works. I love his wallets, and in fact, I always tell my costumers to also buy his wallets. He is a great guy, awesome artist, and his wallets were the first wallets that made me realized that wallets can be fun. So, yes, he has inspired me. I respect his work a lot 👏🏻
Hi, loved this stuff. Would love to see something more on all four. Been going down the minimalist wallet rabbit hole but looking for something dressy but not the usual Rustic Heirloom/Open Sea Leather stuff that everyone seems to have. This stuff is definitely different.
Real cool minimalist wallet for both male & female users. Simple & functional. Perhaps you can take us viewers on a special journey on The Making of Crispy Wallets. It will be awesome to own a Crispy Wallet. Cheers mate from Australia.
Can you test some international currencies when you do reviews. Maybe Yen, Euros, and GBP? I am moving to Japan and starting a bit of a wallet collection so I need to make sure anything I get has capacity for Yen as Japan still uses a lot of cash.

We HAVE to get a review on the Utila! Such a unique and creative design!
Great review! Definitely some Rustic Heirloom and Open Sea influences in the first two. The third was pretty unique. Very impressed with this maker.
Absolutely. I love seeing new designs from small companies

Great, we have a new king and I am hoping they make a mistake and put a spaniel on the notes. All the best
Dude, these are sick!
Great looking wallets, but the tax and shipping to the United States is just too high.
