Used to watch this man in Springburn when i was a nipper 50 years ago ,still live watching him ,I hope he survived covid and is still entertaining the troops
Great find...hats off to your man, he's made my day 👌...sadly hearing The Sash is a very rare thing, if not a totally absent part of any 12th July parade, particularly in Belfast where you've more chance of hearing Star Wars tunes than anything else...Happy 12th July to all fellow Ulster men, women and children 2024...Yo, Yo, Yo, Oi Oi Oi 💪🎉🪈🥁🇬🇧
I'm from Birmingham, but have family in Armagh and the Shankill,my grandmother came to Birmingham from Armagh as a young girl, I've been over on the 12th many times,Absolutely wonderful!
I am a Scottish American Pipers, I play memorial services for American veterans, and am honored to be able to do so. My family heritage means everything to me. I was raised within the Nationalist culture. Now, as a grown man and able to form my own opinions, I respect the Loyalists. They are not some unknown alien species, they are human beings, just like us, with the same basic wants and desires as ourselves. These people weren't dragged into the British Empire kicking and screaming. They are British by choice and by culture. I think that God, in his infinite wisdom, has put enough land on this world, that people should be able to live in peace among their neighbors, even if our neighbors have different views and beliefs. If they want to be British, then let them be British. The sun is still going to rise in the morning, instead of wasting our energy, and our lives, on 300 years of hatred, we should reach out our hands in friendship, and and strive to build a future relationship with them based on trust and respect. Hell, I've always wanted to go to a July 12th parade. It looks like it would be alot of fun.
Are you mentally deranged? Your comment is like a Jew saying " I just love the way these Nazi soldiers march." Do one of two things. Either go and see a psychiatrist, preferably a Catholic one, or, crawl back into your cave.
James, wether you like the man or not I find your language distasteful. The crowd actually enjoyed the performance and this was what I was showing here.
