- Watch this before heading to Salt Lake City International Airport! Hydrate, get snacks, wear good walking shoes (or get a wheelchair). This isn’t an airport to run through (cue scene from Home Alone) because of the altitude (5k ft)
.
.
With only two terminals, it’s one of the most challenging airports to get through- even more challenging than JFK or LAX! Get your Fitbit ready because you’re definitely going to get your steps in!

Aww this is the airport I go to 🥰
I’ll be flying😊 with Southwest there in July.
Awww my air port
Same!
Trying walking from 1 terminal to the other at Las Vegas
Oh no, walking! it’s not that bad
If you’re stopping at the Delta Lounge, you’ll be flying out of terminal A.
exactly lol
I am going there
Love it
SLC! 💖
I have a flight later this month. Delta changed my reservation (twice) and now I have to go through Atlanta to SLC. I will have to walk the hall and gate is at the far end of the concourse to get on my SLC flight to home flight. There is no way I can land, get off the plane (and ride the bus if they are still doing that) walk the tunnel, escalator, a walk again to the far end of Other concourse and get on board on time. I have 40 minutes. Just don’t think that is feasible. It is also the last flight of the night to my end destination. Will be glad when that train between A and B is finished.
You’ll be waiting a minimum of 10+ years for any train to be put in. The simplest ability god has giving us to walk we complain about.
I will do the same route from Rio - Atlanta- SLC with just 45 minutes 😅
It feel so wierd looking at someplace on youtube that ive been to regularly lol!
It’s interesting
This is nuts
From curb to furthest gate is just over half a mile.
It's actually a beautiful airport, but yeah, spread out.
The walk will get shorter in 2024 with a short cut tunnel and then they tare down the long tunnel
it's not that bad if you know what you are getting yourself into. otherwise, it is an unpleasant surprise.
They are planning to build trains like Atlanta Hartsfield Jackson Airport (KATL)
yes
I flew out of Seattle for the first time yesterday. My gate was at Terminal C and it was so convenient to have that underground tram to take me there instead of having to walk.
You must have not walked through atl T gate of E or
Even D gates
guys If ur going to terminal b make sure to buy water cuz u cant bring It through security, because its a long tiring 1/5 mile walk through a tunnel filled with moving walkways
😂😂like what
Do ot
Do not fly Southwest to Salt Lake because all of their gates are the farthest from the security check but if you do take full advantage of their 2 checked bags for free policy because you don't want to be dragging a bag through 50 miles of airport and up and down 27 escalators. Most importantly don't believe that they're building a train or a shortcut or any other BS because they are not.
I think they need a rapid transit in that airport, the walk is too long
They are planning to put that in in the coming years.
@@PlutoGuyy that’s good, I think my colleagues are proud of the new airport, i would be too
