Pretty sure that yes, this plays in Cold Steel IV. It's intentional since Atrocius Raid is the very first song you hear in Cold Steel. So it would have been criminal for the conclusion of the series to not have it in some form.
Specifically the scene where he's pointing his sword with Lloyd at his side and Crow covering his back telling everyone to go forward. If this doesn't play during that moment I'm gonna personally pay a visit to Falcom xD
I teared up when this started to play, my favorite song in the entire game, made even better in the super arrange version 😭😭😭😭 I fucking love this game IT WAS SO HYPE
Whitout going into further spoilers (I don't mind this one, since I kind of expected it), but can Joshua and Estelle combat link? Since it's an ARCUS thing.
(spoilers) We also heard the original version of the song again when Class 7 was attacking the Black Workshop to rescue Rean. ...That WAS when they played it, right? I can't remember exactly when, only that it was before the Pantagruel stuff.

If there were any one song to represent the Cold Steel saga as a whole, it would be this one.
After Cold Steel 4, I felt like that music can represent the 3 first sagas.
i got goosebumps when this played in CS4
Fantastic!
Ikr, it was super epic
I know, right? So shortly after the original version of the song played in the game too.
Ngl, I legit started crying when this started playing. Had to put my controller down and just listen for a bit. So freaking epic!
My heart has just stopped due to the SHEER AWESOMENESS of this track...

Correction: has "been" epic since the 80's
I stand corrected. Epic since the 80's.
It would be criminal to not have this play in the final Cold Steel game.

Good news, it does. In fact, it plays during a team-up mission between Class Vii (old and new) with the both of the previous protagonists
How can a raid be atrocious when it's that epic!
Absolutely beautiful arrangement, the orchestration is insanely good, and the addition of the rhythm guitar is very cool.
This is beyond awesome, when it sounds the whole class VII is ready to save the day.

Cold Steel 4 is coming to PS4 this fall. Rejoice as we hear this song for probably the last time in the saga.
After watching the CS4 trailer, I have a pretty good feeling what scene would be the perfect place for this masterpiece to play in
