If there were any one song to represent the Cold Steel saga as a whole, it would be this one.
After Cold Steel 4, I felt like that music can represent the 3 first sagas.

Pretty sure that yes, this plays in Cold Steel IV. It's intentional since Atrocius Raid is the very first song you hear in Cold Steel. So it would have been criminal for the conclusion of the series to not have it in some form.
Good news, it does. In fact, it plays during a team-up mission between Class Vii (old and new) with the both of the previous protagonists
Absolutely beautiful arrangement, the orchestration is insanely good, and the addition of the rhythm guitar is very cool.
This is beyond awesome, when it sounds the whole class VII is ready to save the day.

Specifically the scene where he's pointing his sword with Lloyd at his side and Crow covering his back telling everyone to go forward. If this doesn't play during that moment I'm gonna personally pay a visit to Falcom xD

Did they eventually explain the beginning of Cold Steel I at some point ? I know a lot of people were complaining it made no sense to them.
Can't blame them since I believe the only explanation is given in Ao (incidentally this is the same explanation behind the beginning of Zero)

@@AbadllahDeBourgogne it's called flashforward, a technique that generally causes the player/reader to be quickly engaged in what is being shown/described, so that they're more willing to keep on playing/reading and get an explanation, while also growing more attached to characters and story
@@MicksUp this is a legitimate answer but if you play zero & ao no kiseki you get a hint it's possibly more complicated
@@AbadllahDeBourgogne well i still have to play them, but i remember that the explanation given in cs is that crossbell wanted to hurt erebonia and then take advantage of the turmoil to declare indipendence
but i'm sure zero amd ao have better explanations

This was made after the game, and as it states is the best of the best they could come up with. Some of the super arrange even play in later games. (Trails of Zero also has a supper arrange which is equally fking awesome)
