But every time the compliment was given I was always approached and asked if it was me wearing something lol, so id tell them and so far every time without fail I had been wearing Explorer!
Wild... I just ordered a small bottle of Explorer a month ago to check it out, and I kinda decided right away I didn't like it - seems kind of harsh to me, I guess. Thing is, I've only worn it 3 times, and it's 3/3 on compliments, all from women... and I don't understand it. Some sort of mysterious magic is going on in the air with that one. Its projection smell must be way different than what's going on up close.
most wanted parfum is THE way to go, that bourbon vanilla is gourmand, does not smell like regular vanilla, it has some creaminess that makes women go crazy, and tastes... smells REALLY nice. similar effect of K EDP from D&G, and Scandal from JPG
Just want to remind everyone to always buy a decant unless you are a baller mc-ballerson like Ashe. Bought a full bottle of angels share and it works terrible with my skin chemistry, literally unwearable for me. That was a expensive lesson to learn.
Learned that lesson early. I have about 30 5ml and 10 ml decants and have to admit I quite disappointed with most hyped frags. There are a few that are full bottle worthy but not many.

On my skin D&G eau intense and Carbon( 3-4 sprays last for at least 9 hours ) Dylan blue ( 4-5 sprays 7 to 8 hours) Tommy ( 5 spray would last 5-6 hours) but all these performs better and last longer when my teenage son use them.

Aside from the Lacoste nothing too out of the ordinary. I'm kinda surprised how little attention I get from other flankers like Bvlgari Aqua, and Aqua Marine, or Bvlgari Man Wood Neroli, Xerjoff Naxos, and Nio and Valentino BIR Coral Fantasy I expected a bit more hey what do you have on type attention. I have a larger collection so maybe more wearing its hard to stray away from cetitfied bangers going to parties just to try out stuff I love to wear around the house.

I bought it b4 it even hit American retailers back in December and nobody gave it any shine or appreciation until you mentioned it a while back. Definitely a sleeper for sure. Kinda has a similar vibe to Le Beau but instead of for spring/ summer it's the fall version. I always get compliments in public from Scandal Pour Homme.

Great list but I have to disagree(and agree) about one particular fragrance. YSL Y EDT is indeed an underappreciated fragrance, it is far better than people give it credit for and IMO is the best of the Y line. However I do not think the reformulation is an improvement. Granted some of that abrasive almost wood shaving note is toned down a little but so is the wonderful creamy base. To my nose this is very hard to ignore despite them being for all intents and purposes the same fragrance. They converge a little by the 2 hour mark but losing a large portion of that creaminess is unforgivable IMO. Luckily I have all I'll ever need of the original.

Spicebomb Infrared is like a "Wunderbaum" 'ish version of Diesel Zero Plus Masculine, it isn't bad at all, just way too expensive, more peppery than fruity/zesty and after the opening it loses it's modjo very fast. If it was tweaked a bit and not as expensive as it is, V&R would have a really great creation on their hands, but it just isn't quite there. Women like it, yes, but you have to almost overspray it and it doesn't get comfortable to wear for a longer period :)

I mean, you can totally rock it up to 30°C (86°F), but above that it just becomes too much. The tonka and the fruity vibe start to annoy you and other people. Above that temperature, I would strongly recommemd more ozonic and aquatic fragrances, like Versace Pour Homme or Acqua di Gio Profondo.
Women like Reflection Man because it smells like a bridal bouquet. Personally, it curls my nose hairs, and I wouldn't wear it because I don't want to smell like flowers. A lot of these are too sweet.

I've been testing Cedrat Boise and I'm on the fence with it. I think the Creed Aventus similarities turn me off to it. I absolutely hate the smell of Creed. The whole house smells horrid. I hope to find a fragrance from Mancera that hits the right spot. My journey continues.

YSL Y 2016 is an absolute lady killer office/casual fragrance! Pretty much get at least a compliment a day at work wearing the stuff!
Ash I got Reflection 45 and it’s not worth it. It doesn’t push at all and is basically a long lasting skin scent.

Versace man eau fraiche and Dior homme cologne are the ones I lean to for high heat

Women like Reflection Man because it smells like a bridal bouquet. Personally, it curls my nose hairs, and I wouldn't wear it because I don't want to smell like flowers. A lot of these are too sweet.

I've been testing Cedrat Boise and I'm on the fence with it. I think the Creed Aventus similarities turn me off to it. I absolutely hate the smell of Creed. The whole house smells horrid. I hope to find a fragrance from Mancera that hits the right spot. My journey continues.

The original YSL Y EDT was better though...it had pineapple in it. The citrus is so boring and the pineapple was something better and different
