I drove by there on the way to Arizona from Los Angeles. It's is literally stunning and beautiful. The white geometry contrasting with the mountains is so awesome.
Every wind and solar installation is propped up by reliable nuclear and fossil fuel plants which compensate for the dangerous and unpredictable fluctuations of wind/solar output. Without nuclear/fossil fuel back up, solar and wind plants would cause life-threatening black/brown outs and voltage spikes throughout the day.
@niels lund That's because they are connected to the reliable grid powered by nuclear and fossil fuels. These sources prevent the blackouts when wind fluctuates.
@niels lund @niels lund it seems you´re absolutely clueless about physics, energy/elecricity transport needs. Have you ever heard about the necessity of base load and the fact that the Danish electricity grid is part of the European composite systems, thus necessarily powered by numerous indispensable foreign nuclear and coal-fired plants serving you and your country when wind fails??? Danish biomass production never ever will cover the electricity needs six million people.
Nuclear just provides consistent energy but it can't take care for fluctuations because changing the output take a long time and can't be done in hours or minutes.
Great video! Is it possible I could have permission to use a part of this in a video I’m working on that will include a section on renewable energy in California? If not, that’s fine, but thanks in advance.

What would be even nicer is just the mountains
@@Usammityduzntafraidofanythinnah, we have plenty mountain ranges in CA. This is unique.
I lived three quarters of a mile from there for almost ten years!
This makes sense, I am surprise that this tour can go into the farm. Cool Cool.
I remember this area very well
My teacher assigned a COMMERCIAL basically to me for homework smh but it is so beautiful
They are wind turbines not windmills.😮
Windmill
"The quantitative increase of a phenomenon determines the radical qualitative change of the landscape". Hegel. NO WIND TURBINES
Green energy
imagine how a bird must feel trying to fly through there.
Say he just stays above them.....

My man has to walk 🤣

They are ugly as can be.
Well yeah, but wind generation was meant to supplement the power grid. It’s not meant to replace the more reliable nuclear/fossil fuel sources.
I went here before a couple times
this taught me how to swim
Bruh💀
These aren't windmills. These are wind turbines.
Did the covered wagons of 1860 go through that area?
ugh, quite a grotesque sight if you ask me.
What do you mean
There it was filmed "Mac & Me"
As in any workplace there is always one who is lazy. 😂😂
80% of people in any workplace are lazy 😂😂😂
AP LANGUAGE AND COMP GANG WYA

Hi friend my name deva from India
I'm doing a repower for Vestas next yr 😆 in Palm Springs
7 windmill let's give it me need farm veng today need go
Woow
Great video! Is it possible I could have permission to use a part of this in a video I’m working on that will include a section on renewable energy in California? If not, that’s fine, but thanks in advance.
There are no Bald Eagles in Palm Springs
Horrible,, and then when they are broke?? 😮
That's what the people there are for ,they showed you that in the clip.😮
Riverside county
GTA 5 anyone ?
A nightmare.
Why do windmill farmers always target the most beautiful places .looks like crap. And doesn't really don't much for the environment

They're actually windturbines not mills.
Yup just need to Google the difference
J
A tour really??? People pay for this??? Wind generation a good idea.. but this area looks as bad a strip mine....
This is crazy. Please stop
Trust there not 450ft tall bud lol
Well those V90 have a tower hit of 105 Meters. Add half of the rotor diameter and you get 150 Meters which is exactly 450 feet.
Looks like a garbage dump. Wind power sucks.
I been there before
It looks like shit.
I'd take the tour but don't want the dreaded windmill cancer or the stacks of dead American Eagles under each windmill.
