    Best gift for me is the car keys padlock, me and my dive buddies are always having to find a place to hide our keys while we’re in the water!

    Changing robe for sure!!! I always struggle to protect my modesty when changing 😂😂😂.
    Although, I have got the scuba confidential book and can say its well worth buying! I learnt so much from this book when I had just learnt to dive. Made a change from reading the rigid text of diving agency materials.

      Hey Katy_jane thanks for the comments the changing Robe would make a great gift to be fair.
      The Scuba Confidential book is a very good read, highly recommended and as you say, you can learn a lot from it no matter what level you are! Good luck in the draw 🤞 🍀

      @TheDiveLine  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Fadi that’s a real shame I really don’t like to hear stories like that! This book will be of use to you but my advice would be to practice in a pool if convenient and/or find a different Dive Center that will be more than happy to help and advise I’m sure! Where are you? 😀

      @@TheDiveLine I’m split between Cumbria and Jordan. Quite a mix I know. Before I knew recreation rules I broke many before realising the danger and immediately started proper training. Access to a pool to play would be great! I did all the confined in the sea with plenty of surface current, it was less than ideal but I did the best I could. You are right I changed dive centre even for fun dives until I find the one who can teach me properly then I’ll do advanced as a way to try and go over some of my sticking points.

      @@TheDiveLine Minnesota, USA, has pretty bad vis lakes as well. Lots of fertilizer runoff. Lots of boats and wind churning up the shallows. Lots of divers, in the good spots, churning up the sediment too ... it's good to be seen down there. On the upside we get a lot of compass work and dives lines below the thermalcline.
