Simply....THE BEST. From beginning to end, top to bottom, side to side....one of the best performances on a city street ever.... anywhere.
Acoustics were amazing good,, marching and dance crisp and fluid. The arrangement of the core group surrounded by the extra's on the side is genius. It just doesn't get any better than this, and of course the videography and editing is pure perfection. Again, thank you st. taketo. The quality of these video's is worth waiting for. We in the UK 🇬🇧, would call it a Top Draw performance, meaning you always keep the best in the top draw.
41 freshies (122th term) join the band only from April 2013 (a record!). I am guessing the 122th term 41 freshies were at the side for the less familiar pieces then joined the other 58 (120th + 121th) for the Singx3. The freshies had already learned all the marching pieces in just a few months.

@@Dodger0103 KT Band for 2025 Rose Parade will likely be between 180 to 200 strong depending on number joining the 123th term next year. 117th to 122th is already over 150. 121th term will be the seniors next year and there will be 4 DMs + 2 DMs in training.

素敵な動画をありがとうございます。2,3年生によるフィールドドリル、しかも路上での Can’t Take My Eyes Off You「君の瞳に恋してる」大変珍しい貴重な映像ですね。３学年揃ってのSigx3、バナーの２人も演奏に加わっていますね。１年生も成長され良い意味で全体的に音やダンス共に大きく乱れも少なく自信による大胆さが出てきた様に思います。ピュアな橘スマイルも増えましたね。これからのマーチングコンテストシーズンに向け何をしなければならないかは２,３年生の皆さんは十分に理解されていると思います。一番の頑張り時で猛暑の中での今まで以上に辛くしんどい練習になると思いますので体調管理には十分に気を付けて頑張って下さいね。１年生もガンバレ!! 努力、苦労そして頑張った未来にはきっと大阪城ホールが待っていますよ。

but nowadays they only play sing×3, which is monotonous and a little unsatisfying. However, compared to other bands, they are
overwhelmingly attractive.

新しいです!! 君の瞳に恋してる🤩 橘の演奏曲の中で初めて聞きました。感激でしかありません。フランキーヴァリさんの曲ではありますが、これは1982年にボーイズ・タウン・ギャングがディスコ風にアレンジして大ヒットした曲でもありますよね!! おそらく50代から60代の方々には懐かしく、また新しくも聞こえたのではないでしょうか？ 橘吹奏楽譜が演奏するとなんか凄いエネルギーを感じ元気になります。橘の生徒の皆さん本当に有難うございます。そして動画を配信して下さるTH-camrの方々も、色々困難が多い中での撮影、大変かと思います。感謝致します。これからもどうぞ宜しくお願い致します。

Another great performance by the Orange Devils. However, to be honest, I prefer Mitsue's arrangement and choreography for "I Love You Baby" just a bit more. Mitsue leads with saxophones instead of clarinets, which I think gives the song a fuller body. Also, I like how Shima-san and Kaneshiro-san are just casually sitting on the ground behind the band and chatting about the performance. Very chill.
I love the Four Seasons number. They do it justice 🙏 Along with a nice choreography.

Hi, sorry I don’t quite understand your comment and what you are saying..
Kaneshiro san is doing I feel a great job on the music side of the band, ( I always understood that the music was selected by the kids) and it was his efforts to fine tune it), sorry about the pun.
The dance is again very much of the kids and the coach is there to help and she is a ex Orange Devil , in percussion I am sure. Her hair then was much shorter and she had it covering one eye at the time.
@@Dodger0103 That comment was from an American fan, he said that since KT band has been trying to simplify their dancing steps over the years, this american fan is worrying that when KT band goes to Rose parade in 2025, the band won't be as good as they were in 2018

They are just starting to develop a new full program, which by 2025, will be amazing.
They said after 2012 they cannot top that in 2018 and the rest is as they say history.

yellowish shirt is senior is 120 class is 3rd grade, now mantappu san not wearing a mask, sugoi, kakui, subarashi minasan, no matter what grade/class, kyoto tachibana always produce a good quality music, sound, formation and dance performance, better and better every year with fresh student, in any condition, for us to enjoyed, their hardworking is amazing, stay safe stay healty, hope i can see all again perform as soon as possible, if possible EVERY DAY, take care minasan, arigato gozaimasta, i need MOREEEE..... hehe

以前されていた、swing ×３からのsing×３がとても魅力的でしたが、最近はsingのみで、単調でちょっと物足りなく感じます。でも他のバンドと比べれば圧倒的に魅力的です。

トロンボーンが前面へ出てくるのが楽しみだったし、かっこよかったですよね！それを追い越すトランペットも素敵でした。

私は 😮 男性 京都橘高等学校吹奏楽部 2018 2019年の､大ファンでしたが 台湾 日台友情 50周年で 指揮棒 リーダー 立ち姿が美しく優雅なパレード で 私 はファン でも 2023 3月 に卒業され ❤私 は油断 常日頃アンテナを張っていない､気のゆるみ まさか北陸 石川県 金沢 橘高校吹奏楽部【 生演奏】が、聴けたのに【いつも4K動画で淋しい】 見逃してしまい、非常に残念です が、 ゆいつ 気持ち【 夏の 制服 】 😮 私は【 オレンジの悪魔】【冬の制服が 】1番好きな 京都橘高校吹奏楽部【 生演奏を見れば 大感動です!!! ❤ 最後にひと言 2023年 橘 生徒さんは 新しい楽曲 が 多いです 、凄く 新鮮な 気持ちです!!!

The "Orange uniform" was designed in 1981 by band alumna Yamashita-san when the SHS was a GIRLS SCHOOL. High School went co-ed only in 2000, and all courses co-ed in 2003. Yamashita-san had never designed any uniform for boys so pants with orange stripes was adopted by the club.
The club is democratic. Although white ribbon (to represent the petals of Tachibana flowers) was part of the uniform, girls with short hair and boys NEED NOT wear white ribbons.

KT girls with orange miniskirts always wear black underwears.
KT STS new school uniform from 2016 was designed by a French designer. The boys wear pants (trousers) and girls wear skirts.

この動画や他の動画のコメントにもありますが、マーチングパフォーマンスやスイングなどが以前と変わりつつあると、もちろん現在の橘は他校とは一味ちがう素晴らしさがあるとのコメントですが、以前の挑戦的で、躍動感ある力強いパフォーマンス、例えばswingも省略してしまった内容になっていたりこのまま優等生化していくとどうなるのかな、と

i just notice from ur comment, me either, first time see a guy in clarinet section, even on my day never had a guy playing soprano clarinet, but actually anyone can play any instrument but i dont know why, but feels like clarinet mostly girl who want to played it, same like flute, i never saw a boy playing flute, color guard too is for girl, but sometimes there is a marching band with a boy in color guard section, i think every section can be played by anyone if he had passion for it
Look carefully. They have this year added "base clarinets" girl and guy (e.g 4:34 on the left of video) on the march too. A guy on the right side does appear to be playing a soprano clarinet perhaps so that there are more guys instead of just one?
The band now uses heavier 12kg/14kg silver plated brass Sousaphones instead of the 10kg plastic ones they previously used even in RP2018. Some snare drums now have a small cymbal added to them.

Awesome performance as always. The band needs to think about getting rid of the one flag bearer as she very rarely smiles and seems to have a lot of negativity. She should know the routines by now and should start showing some confidence, but she doesn’t. It is very painful to watch cause she very rarely smiles and it looks like she is struggling. Would love to see her smile and have fun like everyone else in the band. She does have a very pretty smile, just doesn’t show it to the audience.
You are too harsh on a fifteen year old in her first grade and just joined the band not too long ago. Each person is different and learns at her/his own pace and now a couple more months later she's full of confidence and smiles constantly. She's just as good as the senior color guards now. She shows even more confidence during sit down performances playing the electric bass guitar and the double bass. She's very talented. The one thing that I do agreed with you is that she has a pretty smile.
