Strasbourg Christmas market and the illuminated streets

For four centuries now, the iconic “Christkindelsmärik” has bathed the heart of the European capital in Christmas magic. Over 300 wooden stalls in various squares of the city invite you to an overwhelming journey of discovery in a fairytale atmosphere!
As beautifully as the streets are lit, there are also an incredible number of people out and about. It's best to try your luck with a visit during the week.
Seit mittlerweile vier Jahrhunderten taucht der ikonische „Christkindelsmärik“ das Herz der Hauptstadt Europas in weihnachtlichen Zauber. Über 300 Holzbuden auf verschiedenen Plätzen der Stadt laden zu einer überwältigenden Entdeckungsreise in märchenhaftem Ambiente ein !
So schön wie die Gassen beleuchtet sind, es sind auch unglaublich viele Menschen unterwegs. Am besten versucht man unter der Woche sein Glück mit einem Besuch.

I like being there, but we don't always make it because we always go to Thailand for Christmas.
