I only just recently picked up this game and installed elite mod, lots of fun but I am super bad still. Game holds up really well and there's still hundreds of people online practically all the time, 14 years later.
@I Need More Flavour it's one of those games where being bad ruins the game for everyone unfortunately, which breeds toxicity. New players will always get rolled by good players as well
Tips for avoiding toxicity and skill mismatches. If a new person rely solely on finding a room in public room list, there is a high chance that one will suffer from taking long to find a room and skill mismatches. An optimal way to find rooms for Elite while avoiding two forementioned problems would be like below. 1/ Host a new player room and go (Dis) to (cord) looking-for-games channel to gather new players for it. 2/ Play some games 3/ Send (Ste) friend (am) invite to any and all player who were in your room and were not toxic/blaming. - Doesn't matter if they receive it or not. Keep sending. There is a nice ignore invite button to stop all invites from a player and also invite notification only happens once. These two means invite spam is not a nuisance to anyone. 4/ Repeat Step 1 to Step 3 until you gather about 15 to 20 players in your friend list. 5/ Now, you have power to host a room and fill it up in a minute or two by using both (Ste) invite (am) and informing (Dis) on (cord) any time of the day you want and with players of skills similar to you. Advice for new players 1/ Play on Friday, weekends and during European night time. 2/ Make sure to get the newest patch from forum's releases section. The (l) (ink) is in the video description. 3/ Find players to play with at the (D) (iscord) channel. The (l) (ink) is at the video description. 4/ After joining (D) (iscord), give yourself an initiate tag or completely new tag depending on your preference by going to roles channel. 5/ And most importantly, add every non-toxic player you met on Elite Mod as a (S) (team) friend.
@@SonOfExcess Just join games titled like '3v3 low'. If you join higher games, you just ruin it for everybody because your weakness gets exploited and your team loses before T2.
I think maybe the Ork economy needs looking into as they seem to be able to pump out units and take masses of losses no problem where as chaos just seem sluggish and highly situational. And apart from the chaos sorcerer the other two heroes seem pretty useless.
@@georgeblair3894 orks seem to be able to take a lot more losses and just keep endlessly pumping out units on the field . Losses just don't seem to hurt them in any way .indrid even kinda mentions this in this game . I think the Ork economy needs looking at .
@@reddrascal0124 Maybe, but you also have to look at field control, Orkz for majority of the match had more than 50% of the map controlled, and CSM didn't get a whole lot of bashing off. CSM also lost vital units quite often in this match, like that GUO in the mid. From most matches I've watched, Orkz have barely eeked out wins over CSM, I can only remember like 1 match where Orkz won 300 - nil but that was because CSM were making mad misplays all the time.
@@Ashen_Night116 yeah I'm not just talking about chaos space marines.the orks always seem to be able to take huge losses in any game they play and just keep on pumping out units endlessly. I think either the Ork economy needs looking at or some other armies need a ' boost' of some sort .
a Lot of good usages Battle Wagon lately, the sorceror's still the pain the bud for a super heavy infantry to deal with as usual. Such a hard to counter unit with Subjugation like that (the fact that the only effective counter tactic is to troll a Rock at him speaks a lot)
They did their job. They survived enough rocket shots where other 2 variants would not. They are basicially a damage sponge in a lethal late game. Also it's splash damage is decent against Orks. I will admit that the second Nurgle tank was a mistake, but I assumed that my team mate would bring some AV for me. I was wrong. But at that point, Orks just had too much stuff.
Stikkbombers have no chill. Allies, fellow Orks, enemies - they're lobbing those damned grenades at EVERYONE.
Wez Dont care whos Goes Boom, long as someone does

The player base is kind of toxic and intolerant of new players but it is definitely fun.

Wiiild! The camera angles! Goooood
I’m fairly surprised that we could see the orks being the sneaky type they is.
Does anyone else feel like the minimap is way too small? It's so difficult to see what's going on with it on my laptop screen.
Chaos Terminators with lightning claws!?
Love this channel
faction warZ is da b3st.
Usage of orc banners in a faction war,, ork players will be pleased. I wish there were some upgrades for Bloodletters and Bloodcrusher.
Would that turn the Bloodletters into Bloodbetters?
@@TheIvanNewb Get out
Very, very dominant game for the orcs. The time and vps make it look competitive, but that was actually pretty one-sided
Phobos over the great unclean one.

Once again nurgle tanks looking like a poor choice compared to khorne or tzeench
