It sounds like you had some cool gifts for Christmas :) The doll is super cute. I really enjoy the sewing close-ups and your narration is just right as it is!

To be able to print what fabric you need, now THATS cool!! I don’t mind the full narration on videos, I don’t have the best memory so repetition works for me personally. Plus there will always be new viewers, that probably are looking for full tutorials Your Rainbow Bright is awesome!! That outfit is everything!!
I like when you talk through the whole thing. I like to watch these videos to fall asleep to and if I rest my eyes I still know what’s going on. Thanks for sharing what a cute doll.

Thank you! I LOVED the original X-Men! I used to rush home after school so that I could make sure I got to watch it. I really want to tackle Rogue, she was my favorite.
Wow she looks awesome! She was my one of my favorite characters when I was younger. You did such a great job on her and I loved that you spent more time showing us your work, thank you. Can't wait to see more of your creations. 🤩
I love all those shows you mentioned, we had the best tv/toys when we were kids! I also really loved the care bears, it would be so cool to see a collection of care bears in doll form with their bear look alike as their teddy bears🧸 my favorite was grumpy and cheer bear. Love your work! 💜
We really did! A care bear themed girl would be really cute. Another artist, "Childlike things", did some and they were gorgeous! My favorite was Gramps bear simply because my grandmother gave her to me. However I LOVED the cousins. Brave Heart and Bright Heart were my favorites
One of my all time favorites was Punky Brewster.... I loved the TV show and also the Saturday morning cartoon.... Would enjoy watching you make a punky Brewster Doll....

Keep creating your beautiful content, am loving every second of it 🙏🏻🖤
Not only do I appreciate the sewing bits, but I appreciate the fact that you take the time to explain some of the "why's" behind what you're doing. I feel like that's an area where a lot of doll artists skimp in terms of their tutorials. They're like, "I just sew these together, and voila! Doll clothes!" but I know from my own (ill-fated) attempts that it's more complicated than that. What I would really like to see is a tutorial solely about machine sewing fashion doll clothing at a 1/6 scale. There are so many nuances to the process that differentiate it from "regular" sewing. Patterns on fabrics have to be scaled smaller, and fabrics have to have a certain degree of drape or else they're too stiff at that smaller scale. Seams have to be secure, yet narrow enough not to create bulk. Tiny cut pieces of fabric have to be put through a machine without getting eaten or snagged. It's a unique skillset, and an in-depth tutorial (or multiple smaller tutorials) that describe tips, tricks, and potential pitfalls would be immensely helpful.
So glad you find it useful. I know somethings just don't occur to me to mention because after sewing for so long you begin to think its "common knowledge". I will definitely be adding more to my sewing bits and try to think of things you guys will find helpful.
She's very pretty, I love her outfit and eyes and hair are beautiful. I never watched the show, my favorite childhood magical girls was Mew Mew Power, Doremi, sailor moon, and winx club.
@@blackroseknight77 I had a Bedtime bear! Sadly all of my childhood plush were destroyed when wild animals got into my parents backyard storage building.
Thanks! Jem is my all time favorite. After I grew up and had my own money I bought tons of Jem dolls and playsets that have a place of honor in my art room.
I definitely do think that punky Brewster would be a good one to do... Like rainbow bright.. she has a unique style and way about her... Maybe in the future we will see a video about her.... Keep up the good work and keep doing what you're doing...
As a small child, I really loved Care Bears and My Little Pony. I didn't really watch Rainow Brite or Stawberry Shortcake. But I did have the toys. I can still remember the smell of the Strawberry Shortcake dolls. As an older kid, I really liked Sailor Moon and X-Men.

I loved Rainbow Brite when I was little & I love this doll! This is how I would imagine her grown up, so I think the little ray gun fits her perfectly. 😁🖤❤
Please continue to detail each step every video! Certain other doll artists whom I wont name have stopped detailing each step, which I find to be a shame, as it helps any new doll customizer come in and get the information they need regardless of how new your video is. Oh wow, 😁.Great minds think alike, lol.. I'm just starting my doll repaint journey but I to have rainbow brite and a few other past dolls on my to do list..
Enjoyed the video. Beautiful doll. Wow you took me back to my childhood with Thundercats ,She-ra, Jem and the Halograms etc. It would be awesome if you did a Cheetara doll.
Thanks! I looked them up but don't remember them at all. My husband said he watched them though. They do have a really cool aesthetic and those wing things would be an interesting thing to tackle.
I loved this great video/tutorial, filled with great tips. The stabilizing of the fabric is a must try for me but anyways awesome video and thanks so very much for sharing 😀 ❤
A show that is very nostalgic to me is the My Little Pony classic series from the 80’s. Even tho I’m a 2000s baby my parents had the DVDs of these cartoons.
That is really awesome, I love when parents are able to share things from their own childhood with their kids. It makes it special all over again but for different reasons.
I was obsessed with Get Along Gang and Care Bears! Idk many people who remember the Get Along Gang though...the moose and cheerleader were my faves but I can't think of their names lol
I never saw this cartoon but I got a secondhand doll of her at a fair in primary school, just cause I thought it was pretty I guess. My favorite cartoon when I was a kid was probably Batman the Animated series.
Tiffany, I love your commentary...please keep it up! I don't like it when the creator is quiet. Also, in addition to Strawberry Shortcake, I loved Diana the Acrobat and Sheila the Thief from Dungeons and Dragons cartoon.
Thank you so much! I never watched the Dungeons and Dragons cartoon, I don't know how I missed out on it because it would have been right up my alley. Dianna would be really cool to give an updated look to.
She turned out great! I love her hair (and it might be weird to be impressed by this, but the little gather on her neckline looks so good). I like your style of videos and voiceovers. I was a 2000s child, my childhood favorite is My Little Pony (I think I mostly watched gens 2 and 3 before friendship is magic came out, and then I watched FiM all the way till it ended, haha). Care Bears, Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Spongebob were also some favorites.
While I was not a 2000s child myself, I watched a TON of cartoons from 2012-until about 2020. This was when my daughter was really little and love cartoons and I am kind of bereft that she doesn't really watch them anymore. I loved watching them together with her. I have watched all of FiM and definitely want to do Equestria Girl versions of the ponies, it was my daughter's absolute favorite for YEARS. I want to tackle Ahsoka too, I need to figure out a way to make her tentacle things without them being too heavy or risk breaking off when getting her dressed.
Sailor Moon, Robotech, Zoids, Arthur and Digimon are hands down the most nostalgic cartoonish things for me personally. (I know anime isn't technically cartoon but still!)
@@LadyDynamiteCreates I know in Australia Robotech it was on SBS in the morning on Sundays, the others were all on during the week before school ^^; There are some great and unique characters in the stuff I listed, and they hold up today surprisingly well as far as story goes! :O
Thank you! I really want to do a Lolita doll and completely custom design the print for her dress. My husband already has a list of stuff he wants to do with it too 😊
I had a Rainbow Brite doll and comic book. I vaguely remember the cartoon. The rainbow comes from her bellybutton? I think she was inspiration for a character in a Shounen manga
I didn't watch it but its one I plan to add to the list. I really like their aesthetic. Its a shame they choose the airtimes they did, between getting dressed and catching the bus in the morning I didn't get to watch cartoons on school mornings. This would have been one I watched for sure but I was responsible for getting me and my brother dressed and fed before school because my parents worked 3rd shift so I never had time.
OMG how could I have forgotten about Smurfette! I have the others on my list, I remember putting the little squirrel hair things in my hair, pixie tails or something and Cheetara was fierce!
I've been trying to find someone to make me a rainbow breakdown like that one but let's just say since people found out that I'm a guy they all been saying that is not right for a guy to play or collect rainbow Brite stuff so if you don't mind me asking can you probably make me one please I would really appreciate it
Sewing dolls clothes is a lot like sewing human historical clothing - you have to think about the steps needed to layer fabrics and hide the stitches! I like seeing you sew! I also like your current format. Consider a new person finding this video and feeling lost because you are not narrating what is happening. Also consider the deaf person who needs the CC to know what you are doing. I love your fabric printer! I joined Spoonflower so I can make doll fabrics. I will have to get that Pan Pastel Colourless Blender to go with my PPs when I eventually buy some portrait colours. One of my favourite shows was Johnny Quest. I definitely would NOT consider making dolls of the characters, though the Venture Brothers' parodies of the show make me laugh. You used a tiny little brush with a green handle when starting the eyes and I have no clue what they are called. I am looking to purchase some to have them in my faceup stash. I currently faceup Asian ball-jointed dolls and watch these types of videos for tips, tricks, and inspiration! My favourite dolls were the Johnny West series of jointed plastic dolls (and horses!) with all those accessories. I had the ranch, too! I repainted some of the horses when I got my first kit of acrylic paints as a Jr High teen! P.S. When I draw a portrait, after I get a general quick sketch down, I start with the eyes!
Thank you and you are 100% right. Historical clothing is made of so many layers it affects the fit of everything. The green brush is called a micro applicator, you can get them at most craft stores in the model section but you can get them in bulk on amazon. www.amazon.com/Akstore-Disposable-Applicators-Individual-Multicolors/dp/B07PQLVDM8/ref=sr_1_10?keywords=disposable%2Bmicro%2Bapplicators&sr=8-10&th=1 I remember watching Jonny Quest as a kid and absolutely love all of the parodies. Space Ghost Coast to Coast was amazing. I have never seen the Johnny West dolls but they are so cool and incredibly detailed.
Her shoes give me major Wizard of Oz vibes. Overall you did beautifully!

Do you remember Tiger Sharks? I swear it played with Thunder Cats but not too many people seem to remember this series!
I don't but my husband said he remembered it. They have some crazy character designs!
I had a Rainbow Brite doll and comic book. I vaguely remember the cartoon. The rainbow comes from her bellybutton? I think she was inspiration for a character in a Shounen manga
I always thought she was adorable and loved my doll when I was a kid.
I don't know if you watched Sailor Moon but I watched that alot
I didn't watch it but its one I plan to add to the list. I really like their aesthetic. Its a shame they choose the airtimes they did, between getting dressed and catching the bus in the morning I didn't get to watch cartoons on school mornings. This would have been one I watched for sure but I was responsible for getting me and my brother dressed and fed before school because my parents worked 3rd shift so I never had time.
I remember growing up with watching Dragon ball Z
The hair would definitely be fun to tackle :)
Don't forget Lady Lovely Locks, Smurfette, Cheetara, CareBears, My Little Pony.
OMG how could I have forgotten about Smurfette! I have the others on my list, I remember putting the little squirrel hair things in my hair, pixie tails or something and Cheetara was fierce!
I've been trying to find someone to make me a rainbow breakdown like that one but let's just say since people found out that I'm a guy they all been saying that is not right for a guy to play or collect rainbow Brite stuff so if you don't mind me asking can you probably make me one please I would really appreciate it
I'm so glad you like her and nothing wrong with liking Rainbow Brite! I unfortunately don't remake dolls or do commission work.
I do not like her
Thanks for the input, can't win them all. Hopefully you like the next one more 😊
