With regards to the "past birth" questions: Ravana & Kumbhakarna are the second in the series of births that Jaya & Vijaya are fated to have in the material world, due to the curse of the four Kumaras. Read about it in the Srimad Bhagavatam.

Jai Shree Raam. It was truly enlightening to listen to Sri Dhusyantji's discourse. Tq Shlokaji for thsi wonderful podcast. I am always drawn to Ramayana despite my ignorance and lack of knowledge and religious foundation. Life events somehow correlate to Ramayana. I used to attend historical trip by Dr. Nadaraja to Bujang Valley, an ancient archaelogical site of Chola descendant who had trading activities in Kadaram (Kedah, Malaysia). I also witnessed the launching of Sri Rajendra Chola statue at Sri Sivalingeswar Temple in Sungai Petani, Kedah in 2023. I have been insturmental in guiding students with Raam meditation, as taught by Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. Despite being born as a girl, my father named me as Jaya Suria, carrying the name of Sri Rama's lineage. Life seemed to be full of wonders but yet connected somehow. I pray Bhagwan blesses me with good memory and bhakti to always seek and live life in the present moment. I wish all Sanathani will continue touching the lives of their closest circle with our ancient history and pure lineage from the past. Jayatu Sanathan

I have a question to ask Dhusyanth has it been explained in the Valmiki Ramayana….as to why Sita Ji did not conceive for 14years while in Vanvasam. She must have been older when she came back to Ayodhya and conceived after Pattabhishekam.

Ravana was the 2nd birth of Jaya, the Dwarapalaka at Vaikundam. Jaya and Vijaya were cursed by a Rishi to be born on the earth, as they failed to allow him inside Vaikuntam. They repented immediately and sought a remedy. They were given a choice- to take 100 births as good people or to be born as evil people thrice over. They requested that Lord Vishnu kill them in their 3 births. They were born as Hiranyakashippu and Hiranyarakshan, Ravana and Kumbakarnan, Finally as Shishupaalan and Dhandavakran

Brother if you say something is wrong then Please quote the answer with correct sloka, scripture and author. The beauty of this speaker is that he always quotes proper sloka, scripture and author, maybe he hasn't explained it in detail here, but you really listen to his talks or read his book and then comment. There is already so much confusion in society and comments like yours act like fuel to the fire. Brother he is not pushing his own narrative, you feel so because he has not mentioned the source sloka to each and every statement he has made here, maybe it was cut during editing. But you should really listen to his talks or read his books. The beauty of this speaker is that he always quotes the sloka, scripture and author. He is just following the first version of Ramayana called Valmiki Ramayana, which happens to be the itihas and there are slokas which clearly state that if a confusion arises between timeline or correctness of a event then one should always give first preference to itihas and then only puranas. And then use the commentaries made by widely accepted acharyas to better understand the ithias. Btw don't make up your opinions based on any of the tv serials or movies that are made and telecasted for getting monetary profits, they are usually twitched to make things more interesting.

Rahul name also son of buddha who was a descendant of Ram. And everyones name end with Adityan in our family to honor our Amma Aditi. Seemans NTK founder itself was a Suryavanshi, SP Aditanar. His 1st sons name was Ramachandran Adityan. But Seeman brainwashed all youngsters by saying Ravana as Tamil King. And Seeman did shows for thanthi tv whose founder also SP Aditanar. To prove that we are really descendants of Rama, The thiruchendur thaer moves only after an Adityan from my family touches. Once they tried to move without us, and it didnt move an inch. Murugar is Senathipathi to Devas not Ashuras. And Aditi Amma was the mother to all Devas right. There are descendants of Rama in many parts of India too, I heard.

He is just giving preference to Valmiki Ramayana, the reason behind that is because it's the oldest version and secondly it's agreed upon everyone, that facts of itihas are true, which is valmiki Ramayana. Finally you should really listen to talks, he has delivered talks about other Ramayana version as well, including a version famous in south India called Kamban Ramayana, which was written well before Tulsidas's Ramcharitramans. Nobody is trying to falsify any version of Ramayana, but when confusion arises which one follow, then it's accepted that itihas are the most correct version, which is Valmiki Ramayana, which is what he is adhering to in this Podcast. Brother already there is so much confusion in our society and half informed comments like yours act like fuel to the fire. Do your research before you comment.

And Valmiki was from Tamil Nadu. Thats why he says Maram meaning tree in tamil, not vruksham. Maharishis dont have anything to hide or lie in ramayana. If he wanted he could have skipped the Agni Paritchai. but he didnt. After enlightenment only he writes in sanskrit.

@Dushyant, I would suggest you to pay attention to real history, science and speak from historical and scientific point of view. As per proven research historians, there is no proof that Rama existed nor any of his palaces. People only know Ram from poetic mythology Ramayana. At least for the great King Ravana, Sigiriya palace is there, it passed down generation after generation of their great grand parents talking about the great Tamil King for generations. I also want to bring to your attention, All scriptures are man made and all religions are man made whether Hinduism or christianity, islam or anything else.
Real spirituality has no connection to any of the religions. For anyone interested in true spirituality to know who we really are, you need to cross over religious identities, fighting which religion is better as it doesn't matter at all.
True spirituality is common to all human beings and god is within you not anywhere else and definitely not confined to a form or temple or church or mosque. Use your brains which you were bestowed with. Don't let people fool you.
@Dushyant. - Don't take people backward in backward thinking or propagating hinduism. if you can direct your energy to guide people into true spirituality and i wish you seek the real spirituality. How can creation's purpose be just for us to stick to exterior identities like relgiion or caste or color. We are all one and part of much bigger identity in this universe. Don't waste your life just for smaller identities whoever has instigated you is not there yet to the highest seeking the highest. Get influenced by the highest which is the spirit in us.
and as per science, genetic testing has proven India is the biggest land of immigrants way before America. India consists of various genetic people across different states, steppe eurasian genes(aryans, yes they very much migrated), turkrish, Persians (Iran, Iraqi's, afghans etc..), Mongols. but we never speak about it, govt doesn't speak about it. the only hstory talked about is britishers sadly. Whole of India only spoke Tamil back in the days, aryans stepped in and sanskrit came into India. These are real history people like Dushyant and the indian governement don't want you to know. hence the divide of Tamilians vs tamil brahmins who insist upon sanskrit. Sanskrit was never a language of India originally which is the hard core truth. I myself came to know about it only 3 years ago. and many tamil brahmins are actually tamils except the aryan ones who used them and camaflouged their identity into India. (they themselves don't know it but genetics can easily tell us this). Aryans or ancient brahmins were the biggest meat eaters and this is the truth. 99% of Indian population is being fooled for ages about Indian history. No human is superior or inferior to another human. Indian culture had been altered crazily by power, fame & money minded politicians. Research and get to know people. Drop your sentiments on religion and do an honest open minded historic, scientific research. Protect yourself people from so called God Men from any religion.
True spirituality is common to all human beings and god is within you not anywhere else and definitely not confined to a form or temple or church or mosque. Use your brains which you were bestowed with. Don't let people fool you.

The female version of the name will be ಕಮಲಾ, pronounced as "Kamalaa", which ends in the आ sound. Your name as written in English, will have a "stop" maatra at the last alphabet, which will be ಕಮಲ್. Unfortunately, that maatra is not available in the Hindi language keyboard, so I cannot show you. It will look like a slanted line extending from the leg of ल, pointing downward toward the right.
