The Diddy Kong's Mine Cart Ride Expansion Set (71425) is a part of the LEGO Super Mario universe, allowing kids to recreate iconic Donkey Kong levels. This modular set features various elements to enhance the interactive play experience. The set includes 4 LEGO Super Mario figures from the Donkey Kong world - Funky Kong, Diddy Kong, a Snaggles obstacle, and a Mole Miner enemy. Players can place a LEGO Mario, Luigi, or Peach figure (not included) in the mine cart to ride around the track. They can also engage with obstacles like flipping the Snaggles, fixing a broken section of the track, and defeating the Mole Miner. 'Exploding' a rock reveals a bunch of bananas that can be 'eaten' or gifted to Funky Kong or Diddy Kong. The set includes a buildable airplane/shop for Funky Kong. The airplane has 2 Action Tags to trigger special reactions in an interactive figure (not included) - one when buying balloons and another when 'flying' the plane. Measuring over 4.5 inches high, 20 inches wide, and 19.5 inches deep in its basic formation, this modular set can be rearranged and combined with other LEGO Super Mario sets to create unique levels. The LEGO Super Mario app can be downloaded for building instructions and additional creative content. The set requires the 71360, 71387, or 71403 Starter Course for interactive play.
