- My trip to London was thwarted by the unpredictable weather, but the journey to Westfield London was tediously lengthy, a day before Eid. However, I managed to entertain myself with some good music along the way.
Eid used to be a joyous time for our family get-togethers, but it has gradually become a more subdued affair as we have sadly lost half of our close family members in recent years. Following the Eid prayers, we enjoyed a meal at my mother's house, and as the day progressed, more friends and family joined us for further gatherings.
