And yes time magic was an established ability in the verse. There are still many characters in fairy time who permanently die. So your wild claims fall flat.
im kinda salty that zero of the main cast died i think that it have more of an impact than bullshit power of friendship to power up instead of actuall training close friend dies then grieves then spends a long duration training to power up would have been way better
Wendy is one of three characters that makes me enjoy Aerokinesis (air manipulation). The other two are Aang (Avatar TLA), and Inasa Yoarashi (My hero Academia)
And they only won due to pure deus ex machina. Stopping Acnologia in the real world was kinda...ok but having Acnologia be paralized at the exact moment Natsu powered up was bullshit. If the 2 collided at full power, it would be a one sided victory. But it is FT so that's how fights go. (This is a perspective from the anime only)

Did anyone notice how beautiful the sky was in Edolas during night battle, this music totally compliments that. A decisive fight under a colourful lit night sky
It was good in the beginning, it lost some of its charm when it got more serious. Additionally the "rude jokes" aren't as well placed and seem more for fan service than actual comedy these days.

Might come into aspect with the fact that Natsu and Gajeel are massively stronger and tougher than the other Dragon Slayers with only Laxus and maybe Cobra being stronger as individuals for the most part. There are some problems with using dual elemental magic, namely becoming terribly exhausted after each use. Natsu always becomes weak after using magic that isn't is own. Each Lightning/Fire and Dark/Divine/Fire activation, while intensely powerful, leaves him in a vulnerable state. This was of course, his only way to counter opponents who were ultimately superior to him in magic. Gajeel was shown to be worn down after using his Iron Shadow Dragon Form after using it for the first time thanks to the magic strain and the injuries he sustained before gaining access to it. Wendy isn't as strong or durable as those two but she makes up for it by being analytical and clever by using her abilities to make up for it. Natsu was able to enter Dragon Force by will in the Final Season and presumably even before then but he never bothered because his raw power is usually enough to flatten anyone who's not at least as strong as he is, same applies to Gajeel. In both of their cases, once they gained access to their dual magic modes, what's the use of Dragon Force? Or in Natsu's case, he gained access to Fire Dragon King Mode in the Final Season, making the use of Dragon Force less useful as the former is a much stronger 'upgrade'.
