Aespa is different in a very good way. Their songs are super catchy, but I think you need to listen to them more than once to really appreciate them. They have insane vocals and intriguing concepts. They are currently one of the most popular groups, and they absolutely deserve it!

They're under the same company as Aespa and have been active for 12-13 years now. They're known as THE vocal kings of K-pop, and that's a bold statement and it's for a reason. Every member is multitalented, even outside of music, and they're one of the most influential groups in existence. I think their Dingo Killing Voice performance is a good start as well as their B-side medley or some vocal compilations (personally, and preferably, the 2020 vocal compilation or 2024). They have arguably one of the best discographies in Kpop, you can fight me if you disagree, but they're worth checking out for sure. Just some basic info: they're a 9 member group (used to be 12) so you'll see a lot of lineup changes throughout their music videos and live performances. Some are currently going through mandatory military service so that's another factor of why members could be missing, as well as a Chinese member of the group, Lay, being inactive and doing solo work in China.

Love Aespa their so good, but another girl group that you should check out is Twice they are a really talented all rounder group with vocals, rap, and dance. I’d say their definitely one of the biggest and successful girl groups, there’s 9 of them in the group but if you do react to them then you should definitely check out their songs, moonlight sunrise, perfect world, feel special, and set me free they don’t disappoint.

Although I also like some boy groups, like SKZ or Ateez, sadly I don't know enough about them (nor do I have the time & patience to invest into knowing them better, besides watching & enjoying some of their releases). All my youtube & kpop time is reserved mainly to: XG, Blackpink, (G) I-dle & Aespa, with a sprinkle of Itzy, Le Sserafim & Mamamoo (the latter h I highly recommend - they have the best vocals in kpop)😄. These groups I follow & watch, on a daily basis, so I got to know them much more in-depth. Also, because I mainly like upbeat type of songs & rap, sadlyI don't rly listen/have knowledge about some big groups like: Twice, New Jeans, IVE etc (I do like some of their songs, but the cutesy type is not for me).
