For those wondering, it's a play on the fact that as Indian-Americans, our parents tend to be very frugal... so "Close the windows" is a way of saying we're wasting money.

And though I do find things humorous, rarely do I vocally laugh.

OK, I'm a recent convert to the Melwani household after seeing the 'loading the washing machine' on another site (which is bloody hilarious). So without sounding like a stalker I tracked you guys down and was instantly captivated by Sheena's laugher which is constantly just under the surface, her husbands ability, lightning wit, constructive humour and obvious desire to tap into it and the fact that you mesh so well together. Makes me wish I knew you guys personally. Now close the vindows on this stuphs and go to bed.
Look for the one about straightening her curly hair, and then cutting it again. Just don't be drinking anything when you do, or you'll be snorting it out of your nose. It's a very close 2nd to the "Bloody Poppins" washing machine video.
The washing machine was my first video too! I kid you not, I watched it at least 15 times!

I really, really needed this right now! Hilarious. I’ve spent a lot of time in Bangalore, Hyderabad, & Delhi and really love the culture. This warms my heart after 8 spinal surgeries and throat & shoulder surgeries. And I just got out of hospital after a week’s stay for seizures. *This* video has been the _best medicine_ yet. @@bluesky1807 Thank you. After all I have been through, I continue to be challenged in life. Two months ago I was diagnosed with cancer. I’ve just started chemo and radiation. I like to rewatch these Indian Dad (husband) videos, they help me keep my spirits up.

I cannot express how much your videos have lifted me up when I am in dark mode. Thank you for making me laugh. One of my rules to myself after I got clean and sober 10 years ago was to help make people smile and laugh. The world is hurting bad enough as it is. And seeing family, friends and people I work with everyday afraid to smile. Afraid to be happy draws me out of of my depression and anxiety. Because I have dealt with dark days since I was young. And making someone smile or laugh warms my heart that hopefully I have made them happy even for a minute. And possibly saved their life for another day. Thank you and please be safe. You don't eliminate racism by having arbitrary rules about who can do what accents. You do it by treating everyone the same no matter what race. If you can do a French accent and I can do an American accent, you can certainly do an Indian accent.

This is the best channel I could have ever found. I've lost a lot this year and these videos help me through each day. Lost my brother in Nov. 12, 2020 Covid, lost my wife May 8, 2021Covid, lost Dad May 27, 2021 Cancer, lost my 1st cousin June 2, 2021 Operation complications. And I was also in the hospital (from Feb 19 to April 9, 2021), intubated for 1 month and 1 month in recovery. Thank You for making my day better. 🙏💖👍🤗

I have been watching the videos on Facebook lately and I have completely lost my sh*t - Spat my coffee - Sides hurting - Face Killing me - curled on the sofa - ALL from Laughing.
